Practitioners were invited to visit four schools in the region where they introduced the practice to teachers and students, and taught them the Falun Dafa exercises. Many said it made them feel peaceful, calm, and clear-minded afterward. One of the teachers remarked, “This opens a new door for us towards health, serenity, and happiness.”

After pausing for two years due to the pandemic, the Mid-Autumn Street Fair was held on August 20 and 21 in Oakland, the third largest city in California’s Bay Area. Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth to introduce the practice to passersby and tell them about the ongoing persecution in China.

“Taste of Manila,” Canada’s largest Filipino Street Festival, was held in Toronto on August 20-21. A Falun Dafa booth joined the many other food booths and shops, and the Toronto Tian Guo Marching Band was invited to perform.
The Tian Guo Marching Band, waist drum, and dragon dance teams performed. Many of the spectators talked to practitioners and expressed interest in learning more about the practice.
Falun Dafa’s procession was highly regarded with its colorful traditional costumes. Practitioners held a booth afterward to talk to people about the practice and the persecution.
