Falun Dafa Band Performs in Kickoff Parade for Taipei's Largest Ever Sports Event

“They are extraordinary,” said a Taipei district chief of the Falun Dafa group's Tian Guo Marching Band. She was glad to have them perform in the parade that kicked off the 2017 Universiade games. This is largest international sports event ever held in Taipei, and it begins this weekend.

Attracted by the display of gentle exercises and poster boards explaining the Chinese meditation practice, many pedestrians stopped to learn more about Falun Gong and why it is persecuted in China. One practitioner explained, “Our individual efforts may seem insignificant, but when we work together, our energy as a whole will bring the persecution to an end.”
