Young practitioners from the Toronto area have joined other practitioners at Niagara Falls to teach the Falun Gong exercises to tourists and raise awareness about the persecution in China. These young people share why they cherish this opportunity, and offer insights into Falun Gong cultivation practice.
“The Chinese regime is a tyrannical system. To maintain its power, they don't allow free thought,” commented one man who signed the petition condemning the persecution of Falun Gong in China. He hopes that his signature will help convey the message to politicians and urge them to take action to end this human rights crisis.
A Falun Gong practitioner was detained numerous times for upholding his faith. He was forced to live away from home for five years. After he finally returned home, authorities kept harassing him and his family until he eventually succumbed to the relentless persecution.
Practitioners brought the Art of Zhen-Shan-Ren Exhibition to the community, and visitors learned about the benefits of practicing Falun Gong.
