Army Major Dies of Abuse While Serving Second Prison Term for His Faith

Major Wang Youjiang died on July 1, 2017 at the age of 48 while serving six years for refusing to renounce Falun Gong. In Lanzhou Prison, he was tortured with electric shocks, beaten, forced to do hard labor without pay, and subjected to numerous other forms of abuse. He was previously incarcerated for ten years for telling people about the communist regime’s persecution of his spiritual belief.

Washington DC: Protesting at the Chinese Embassy Over the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Yang Yuyong

A rally was held in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. in protest of the untimely death of a Falun Gong practitioner who had been imprisoned in Tianjin. A friend of Mr. Yang's who spoke at the rally said she was shocked by the news of his death, “Such a nice guy, who was in great health, lost his life so quickly and so brutally.”

Some expressed interest in learning the exercises and invited practitioners to start a group exercise site in their city.
