Washington DC: Protesting at the Chinese Embassy Over the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Yang Yuyong

A rally was held in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. in protest of the untimely death of a Falun Gong practitioner who had been imprisoned in Tianjin. A friend of Mr. Yang's who spoke at the rally said she was shocked by the news of his death, “Such a nice guy, who was in great health, lost his life so quickly and so brutally.”

Recent Falun Gong Events in Europe

In the busy tourist season, Falun Gong practitioners held events to introduce the Chinese self-improvement practice in Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Turkey. Many residents and tourists stopped by the practitioners’ booths to learn more about Falun Gong and how it is persecuted in China. Some expressed interest in learning the exercises and invited practitioners to start a group exercise site in their city.

Seattle, Washington: Falun Dafa Group Takes Grand Prize at 2017 Magnolia Summerfest

Falun Dafa practitioners took home the grand prize for their entry in this year's Magnolia Summerfest Seafair Parade. Over the course of the weekend, many people learned about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. A Magnolia resident commented, “It's too bad that so many innocent people are suffering so much for their belief. I think the world needs to know this.”
