The sentencing of seventy-four Falun Gong practitioners, for upholding their faith, was reported in July 2023. Among the 39 practitioners whose ages at the time of sentencing were known, 9 were in their 50s, 13 were in their 60s, 16 were in their 70s and 1 was in his 80s.

Practitioners in central Japan participated in the 60th Daiyokkaichi Festival of the Mie Prefecture on August 5-6. Practitioners performed the waist drum dance in the parade, and demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises on the stage, all of which were well received.
Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the Place Saint-Michel in downtown Paris on August 6, to help expose the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Their call to stop the persecution received great public support.
This was the fourth year that Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate in the event. They introduced Falun Dafa to London residents and tourists from surrounding cities and towns, and taught people the exercise movements free-of-charge.
