(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the Place Saint-Michel in downtown Paris on August 6, 2023, to help expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners collected signatures on a petition calling for an end to the CCP’s atrocities. Their call to stop the persecution received great public support.

Mr. Frank Onofrio supports freedom of thought and belief.
Mr. Frank Onofrio, a Peruvian writer, carefully listened to a Falun Gong practitioner’s explanation and said, “Organ harvesting is a genocide crime! Dictators only exploit people instead of helping people.”
Mr. Onofrio condemned the persecution, “Why persecute a spiritual practice and exercise activities? How come? This is for control. They even control people’s exercises, pushing it to the extreme. People should live in freedom and harmony.”
Ms. Monique Schuartz
Ms. Monique Schuartz, an independent journalist, was appalled upon hearing about the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting from living people. “Forcibly taking people’s organs is a persecution of all of mankind. No language can describe it! We must fight it,” she said.
Regarding the importance of the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Ms. Schuartz said, “We have lost many of our principles, including Truthfulness. We have to keep the truth. It’s also important for China.” She planned to help spread the information through her social media.
Mr. Fabrice Lechelon encourages Falun Gong practitioners to keep doing a great job.
Mr. Fabrice Lechelon, a pottery artist, said that he was aware of the persecution of people whose opinions were different from the Chinese government’s. “The people in China don’t know of [organ harvesting.] China has become an organ-transplant platform. Whoever needs an organ goes there. Absolutely crazy,” he said. Mr. Lechelon expressed his best wishes for great success by the practitioners in their endeavor to bring an end to the CCP atrocities.
