Falun Gong Features Chinese Culture in Seattle Torchlight Parade

The largest parade in the northwestern U.S., the Seafair Torchlight Parade, has been a tradition in Seattle for almost 70 years. This year’s Falun Gong entry, with practitioners demonstrating the exercises on a float decorated with a large lotus flower, a symbol of purity in Chinese culture, was very popular with the spectators. Practitioners playing the traditional Chinese waist drums also delighted the crowds.
