Taking the Opportunity of Chinese New Year to Raise Awareness About the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

Falun Gong practitioners around the world, the vast majority of whom are of Chinese descent, continue to raise awareness of the persecution of the practice in China even during the most important Chinese holiday. Two such events were held a continent apart in New York and Helsinki. 

Hong Kong: Falun Dafa Practitioners Wish Revered Master Happy New Year

Hundreds of practitioners gathered at Edinburgh Place near Hong Kong City Hall on January 28, to celebrate the New Year and send best regards to Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. Attendees included local practitioners in Hong Kong, as well as immigrants and visitors from mainland China. While speaking of the the great benefits they have received from Falun Dafa, several practitioners were moved to tears.

Falun Gong Practitioners and Supporters Send New Year Greetings to Master Li with Gratitude

At the Chinese New Year, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners and supporters sent greetings to the founder of the practice, Master Li Hongzhi. They wished him a Happy Chinese New Year and expressed gratitude for the benefits of the practice and its principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
