The pandemic has not discouraged the Chinese Communist Party from continuing its persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that is based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. In 2020 alone, 83 of its practitioners were persecuted to death; 622 were sentenced to prison; 6,659 were arrested; and 8,576 were harassed.
More than fourteen years ago, the Chinese Communist Party's forced organ harvesting, "an unprecedented evil on this planet," was exposed for the first time. Since then, more than 2,000 pieces of evidence have been collected, showing the involvement of the communist government and military police in China's organ supply chain.
While raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong every day for many years, 80-year-old Huilian has helped over 10,000 people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates. She believes this decision to stand up against the CCP’s persecution and support goodness brings people good fortune and safety in these treacherous times.
Perfectly healthy when she was last arrested, Ms. Song Xianlan suffered a stroke and developed high blood pressure due to abuse in custody. She died one year after being admitted to prison to serve her second term.
Two women, age 56 and 64, were confirmed to have passed away in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Both had suffered years of persecution for their faith in Falun Gong.
