Practitioners participated in Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day festivities with 5,000 spectators in attendance. The waist drum team led the practitioners’ group and was followed by the dancing heavenly maiden team, flags, and balloons. Many people applauded their music and dancing.

Falun Dafa information booths set up at two locations informed people about the ongoing persecution in China. Living in a formerly communist country, many sympathized with the plight of the practitioners, and wished to encourage them not to lose hope.

Seventeen practitioners spoke on a range of topics including their extraordinary experiences after they began cultivation and how practicing Dafa gave them wisdom at work and while participating in activities to introduce Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the persecution.

Ukrainian practitioners demonstrated the exercises, taught people how to make origami lotus flowers, and performed a dragon dance. The TV station reported on the event.
Latvia practitioners introduced the practice and many were interested in learning the Falun Dafa exercises. The children loved learning to make origami lotus flowers.
Practitioners formed a motorcade in Vienna, the capital of Austria, to tell people about the preciousness of Falun Dafa, and collect signatures for a petition to help end the persecution of the practice in China.
