Tribune de Genève: China and Falun Gong Confront Each Other at Geneva

One thousand Falun Gong practitioners gathered together yesterday morning at the Place des Nations. They practised their morning exercises opposite the UN. This spiritual practice on Geneva soil was used to protest the repression against the practitioners in the People's Republic of China. It was thus that Falun Gong was informed at the last moment by André Hediger that they could assemble - as well as this afternoon and tomorrow morning - at the Place des Nations. The activity is to take place alternately with that of their opponents, the representative committee of Chinese students.

"Our Hearts Are Bleeding"

We Chinese Falun Dafa practitioners have been illegally detained, arrested, and incarcerated in labor camps while appealing for justice and safeguarding Dafa. Not only we, but also our families and work units are all under mounting pressure. Some of us have been shocked with high voltage, had tubes inserted into our stomachs, been beaten up and inhumanely tortured, been forced into psychiatric institutions, been dismissed from our jobs, had our party memberships rescinded, had our houses ransacked, had our salaries deducted, and have been terrorized for cash ransoms. Some have even lost their lives. We have not succumbed to such oppression. We still firmly believe in Dafa and our teacher, and we have never wavered in safeguarding the universal truth.

Let Go of Human Resentment and Sentiment and Let the Compassion of A Dafa Practitioner Come Out

I am nearly 40 years old. Before practicing Falun Dafa, I put all my hopes in my family. At that time, my husband' family had purchased a two-story building, so my husband and I lived together with his parents. My husband ran a profitable factory and I had been pregnant for nine months. I had a happy marriage and felt very satisfied. One day I found unexpectedly that my husband was having an affair. Regardless of the consequences, I got into a fight with that woman. This happened in June 1995.
