Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part in the National Day parade in Tainan City, a celebration that drew people from all over the island. The Tian Guo Marching Band of over 170 practitioners from throughout Taiwan, plus 20 practitioners dressed as celestial maidens, proved to be very popular.
Several Koreans recently found a way to stay youthful and healthy during nine-day Falun Gong workshops. One of them said that he felt much better after doing the meditation: “It felt like when I was young. I was able to walk quickly with good balance, just like the conditions described in Zhuan Falun. Experiencing this personally has allowed me to open up and accept the teachings in the book.”
Zurich, Switzerland: Practitioners Learn from Each Other at Falun Dafa Experience-Sharing Conference
Twenty practitioners from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria talked about their practice of Falun Dafa. The youngest speaker was just 16, and the oldest was in their 70s. Everyone spoke from the heart about the beauty of Falun Dafa, how they have followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in their work, study, and lives, and how they tell people about the persecution in China.
Many people who saw the parade expressed their support and condemned the Chinese Communist Party for its human rights abuses. “We need more messengers like you to tell us about the situation in China," one of them said.
While teachers the world over are respected for nurturing future generations, educators in China face arrest, torture, and even death simply for living by moral principles taught by their faith.
The judge gave 61-year-old Ms. Xu Xiuyun a six-year term because she was a “repeat offender,” as her most recent arrest came less than five years after she had served 13 years for practicing Falun Gong.
