Call for Submissions to Commemorate the Twentieth Anniversary of Falun Dafa’s Introduction

(Clearwisdom.net) May 13, 2012 marks the twentieth anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public, and is also World Falun Dafa Day. Here, the Clearwisdom editors are calling for submissions of various types from Dafa disciples all over the world that validate and clarify the truth, in order to show our gratitude for Master’s merciful salvation and to better validate the Fa and help the world’s people see the truth, as well as to help people better understand Falun Dafa disciples, get to know the Dafa disciples’ personal experiences and their twenty-year path of elevating themselves physically and spiritually, and in particular, to show people why so many disciples are persisting in cultivation and clarifying the truth with all their might despite suffering thirteen years of persecution from the CCP, how new practitioners are continually joining in to be a part of Dafa cultivation, and to clear away the wicked Party’s lies. The submissions are expected mainly to be (but not limited to) essays, poetry, calligraphy, seal cutting, Chinese and Western orthodox artwork, photography, illustrations, music, videos, flash, etc.

FDIC - Falun Gong Practitioner Near Death in Tianjin Prison

NEW YORK--On February 8, Amnesty International issued an urgent call for help on behalf of a Falun Gong practitioner being held at Tianjin prison who is feared to be near death (link). The practitioner, Zhou Xiangyang (周向阳), was the subject of a petition signed by over 1,500 of his fellow villagers in August 2011 urging the Chinese to release him.

Central News Agency: Falun Gong Sues Visiting Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong, Prosecutors Start Investigation

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 16, 2012, Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong visited Taiwan. The Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyer Group in Taiwan filed a lawsuit with the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, charging Guo Jinlong for his involvement in the crime of genocide. The High Prosecutors Office indicated that it had received the suit and its prosecutors had started an investigation.

(Clearwisdom.net) Shenzhen City Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Liu Jingze, Mr. Liu Xiaoguang, and Mr. Lu Chunrong were

illegally arrested

on June 21, 2011, and have been detained ever since. The police threatened the practitioners’ families not to expose the involved authorities and agents on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom), as well as not to hire defense attorneys to make not-guilty pleas in court.
