APEC Summit Held in Peru, Falun Gong Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit is being held in Peru from November 22 to 23, 2008. On November 19, Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Peru. Before his visit, Peruvian Falun Gong practitioners sent information about the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the President of Peru and called on him to extend the practitioners' voice to Hu: "Immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong!" The practitioners also sent information about the persecution to governmental officials and the media and called for help to stop the persecution.

Canada: Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Christmas Parade in Montreal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 22, Falun Dafa practitioners' Divine Land Marching Band participated in the Christmas Parade in Montreal. Legend has it that the parade started in 1925 to mark the date that Santa Clause visited the city. The parade attracts more than 300,000 spectators every year.

"These Are Divine Beings Performing!"

(Clearwisdom.net) Divine Performing Arts (DPA) has showcased traditional Chinese culture and its rich content gracefully and elegantly. The DPA name became well-known after its ten performances on Broadway in December 2007. After that, DPA toured over 60 cities around the world and performed over 200 shows. The shows received a warm welcome from a total combined audience of 650,000 people of different ethnic, national, and cultural backgrounds. People from all walks of life praised DPA's performances and expressed favorable opinions of the quality of the shows.
