(Minghui.org) Minghui.org published 90 articles that were submitted during the China Fa Conference from November 9 to December 3, 2025.
Falun Dafa practitioners from all walks of life in the harsh environment in Mainland China shared their experiences of practicing cultivation according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and assisting Master to save sentient beings. Their articles inspired practitioners outside of China to reflect on their shortcomings and move forward with diligence.
Getting Rid of CCP Culture and Showing True Compassion
Practitioner Ms. Zhang in Chicago said after reading the China Fahui articles she was touched. One article, “I Realized the Importance of Studying the Fa Well After My Celestial Eye Opened,” left a deep impression on her.
In the article, the author had explained that all supernatural powers he had experienced in his cultivation were mentioned in Zhuan Falun. These supernatural powers were generated by and demonstrated in Dafa. The author mentioned at the end of the article that the most powerful ability came from compassion.”
Ms. Zhang often has tests in her daily life related to her child. She often attempts to control and persuade her child to follow her ideas. But true compassion and truly helping others does not equate to changing others for one’s own purposes. If one is mired in affection and attachment, true compassion cannot manifest. Ms. Zhang thus realized that she needed to get rid of her competitive mentality and resentment. By gradually eliminating these attachments she could have true compassion for others.
The article “Eliminating Jealousy in a Work Environment” also touched her. She said, “The article mentioned Chinese Communist Party culture. Living in the Party culture for many years, one cannot realize many things. When we have a thought, such as disliking someone or feeling that someone’s behavior doesn’t align with our notions, a thought would be generated to try to change and demand of others. In essence, this state is from the Party culture of controlling others.”
She was moved by these articles. She said when thinking things over, on deeper reflection many thoughts arise from selfishness and attempting to control others.
“Living in China for many years, one becomes deeply indoctrinated by such culture, being born and growing up in such an environment, and it becomes natural for one to behave in these ways. Though everyone knows the competitive mentality is not good, sometimes I still wish my for child to compete to be better. This is the same issue. The habit is hard to get rid of in one try. But one must get rid of it because compassion manifests after all attachments, including ego, the competitive mentality, and pursuit, are let go,” she said.
Raising Awareness Actively Outside of China
After reading the article “I Have Walked My Challenging Cultivation Path Without Regret,” Ms. Zhang realized she had a loophole in her cultivation because she selectively skipped some sharing articles. The articles she skipped were about truth-clarification in China. She reflected on whether had considered saving sentient beings a low priority. If that was the case, it indicated that she had overlooked the most important point: saving people is not optional, but a major issue for practitioners to pay attention to and keep in mind. The sharing articles from China often carry wisdom, allowing one to learn how to talk with people and overcome difficulties.
Ms. Zhang said after she came to America, she participated in clarifying the truth and attended events and parades, but found there were fewer opportunities to actively raise awareness. The most direct way is to distribute flyers during events. This is much less than the state of actively looking for people to clarify the truth.
The CCP has now escalated its transnational repression, and she needs to take care of her child. The environment in the United States is different from the environment in China. She cannot go out at will and she needs to use her wisdom to look for opportunities. She looks for opportunities to do truth-clarification in daily life. For example, when she was buying food at McDonald’s, she said to the cashier, “Thank you for helping us today. Here is a brochure for you to take a look at.”
Another practitioner Ms. Yang said she felt the urgency of fulfilling her mission and the responsibilities of Dafa practitioners. She said, “I truly realized I should clarify the truth at work. Sometimes, I would forget to introduce Dafa to patients due to my tight schedule. After listening to a sharing article one day, I talked to a few patients about Dafa and they asked some questions. No matter if they cultivate or not, this will lay a foundation for them to obtain the Fa in future.”
Letting Go of Attachments and Getting Essential Understanding
After reading the Fahui articles and listening to Minghui Radio, Ms. Ye said, “Dafa practitioners assist Master to save sentient beings, which is prehistoric vow of cultivators and also unprecedented sacred glory in the universe. But the whole process is full of hardships and danger.” She realized that true cultivation requires one to look within and get rid of attachments through one’s actions instead of just coming to an understanding.
After reading the article “The Importance of Clearly Understanding Fa-Rectification Cultivation,” Ms. Ye said, “This article let me think that as practitioners outside of China, how do we enhance our righteous thoughts in daily life? How do we keep a positive state by dispelling human interference in life? In China, practitioners face the test of life and death and must get rid of attachments. They know they can only depend on the Fa. Thus, they are steadfast in cultivation. One may also be persecuted outside of China, but the persecution manifests in other forms, such as having you slack off like everyday people. You may think that you have participated in Dafa events and done Dafa projects, but you may not realize that it may become a routine like everyday people’s work after a while.”
She realized that in cultivation, practitioners should improve themselves to become divine, and experience great and sacred compassion. But every bit of slacking off in life is actually blocking oneself. She felt that she has often regarded herself as a participant to help complete a task, not as a divine being to take a leading role in saving sentient beings. Though appearing kind and positive, she felt she did not truly improve herself. This is what she felt she needed to improve.
Ms. Ye said an example in the article “Letting Go of Human Sentiment and the Attachment to Compliments” had resonated with her. The practitioner who authored the article had talked about liking receiving compliments from practitioners and family members. Ms. Ye noted she was like that at home and among senior practitioners. Sometimes she also felt affection between practitioners and lowered the requirements for herself in cultivation, being satisfied with a state of taking care of each other and everyone being well. Even when someone pointed out a gap so that everyone could improve together, the practitioner would do so in a subtle way, indirectly and less seriously. Such sentiment affected oneself and could interfere with other practitioners.
She said she had everyday attachments toward fellow practitioners and other people. This is what she needed to improve. She hoped to let go of interference from human affection and attachments to compliments in daily life and projects so that she could cultivate solidly and sacredly.
Articles in which cultivators share their understandings typically reflect an individual's perception at a point in time based on their cultivation state, and they are offered in the spirit of enabling mutual elevation.
