WEIFANG, China -- Rising out of the North China Plain in a jumble of dusty apartment blocks and crowded roads, this is an unremarkable Chinese city in every respect but one: Local police regularly torture residents to death.
Dafa practitioner Li Shouqiang, male, born on December 2, 1963, was a resident of Wusheng Dongli, Chaoyang District, Beijing. He was an employee of Beijing Automobile General Assembly Plant. He stepped forward many times to validate Dafa and appeal peacefully. He was arrested on March 8, 2000 when he went to appeal on Tiananmen Square and died on March 20, 2000, at the age of 37.
