Be Fully Dedicated and Selflessly Strive Forward

Being a cultivation practitioner in Mainland China, I, along with other practitioners, have done something to validate Dafa at a time when evil is doing damages to it. Although I could set aside my attachment to life when validating Dafa, I became less diligent in cultivation when I came back into ordinary life. This would have continued if a radical change did not in my surroundings, which woke me up as if from a dream. I knew I had taken a detour because of my less-than-full commitment to the Fa-validating process and compared with those practitioners leading the pack, I had fallen far behind. I shall take a lesson from this experience. To remedy my past mistakes, I shall fully apply myself to the cause of validating Dafa, and make diligent progress selflessly in my future cultivation. I'd like to use this opportunity to share with those yet-to-step-forward practitioners some of my recent experiences. Let's start with an analogy. If everyone who steps forward to validate the Fa will get an award, some people will probably not step forward because of steep economic sanctions, or most brutal tortures. While this is a mere joke, we do see that it is exactly your attachments--to fame, gains and sentimentality, and life--that are hampering you, preventing your stepping forward to validate Dafa. How can you, without eliminating these attachments, enable the yet-to-be-cultivated part to completely assimilate to Dafa? How can you, Dafa practitioners, stay home to carry on Dafa studies and practice while Dafa is being inflicted upon, Teacher being slandered, and fellow practitioners murdered because of their beliefs? Isn't Dafa cultivation a process of letting go of human attachments? How can assimilation to Dafa be accomplished by holding on to these attachments at home? Do you think it is reasonable for those people to come out and start calling themselves Dafa practitioners only when the truth has already be revealed? Who, then, will acknowledge us if we do that? I suppose Teacher will not accept us at that time, and Dafa will make no exceptions for us either. What is most deplorable is this: while those ordinary people yet to attain the Fa still have predestined opportunities to obtain and cultivate in Dafa in the future, those of us who have already attained Dafa but who can not stand up at critical moments to validate Dafa are actually betraying themselves and betraying Dafa--understandably, their actions will lead to very wretched and frightening consequences. I came to understand that we, as Dafa practitioners, should not compare our own experiences to that of ordinary people. All the tribulations Dafa practitioners have suffered, which are so negligible relative to what Teacher has endured on our behalf, to save the people with benevolence are most majestic and magnificent in other realms. They also are consummating our own mighty virtues. The majority of Teacher's disciples live in Mainland China. We shall do a better job at rectifying the Fa, clarifying the truth and revealing evil. We shall not let Teacher worry about us. Teacher is looking at us every moment, and is still waiting for those yet to step forward.
