Though these supporters do not practice Falun Dafa themselves, they have families, friends, or acquaintances who do. They appreciate the goodness of Dafa and condemn the persecution.
A passerby who tried out the meditation exercise said, “This is an extraordinary practice! I’m able to relax my body and mind after only a short time."
Between May 3 and 6, flags were raised in Brighton, Amherstbury, Orillia, and Orangeville. The first flag-raising ceremony to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day was held on April 29 in Barrie.
Jacey Jetton, District 26 Texas State Representative, wrote in his resolution: "Falun Dafa members have courageously stood up for their right to practice, and in so doing, they have demonstrated the value of life and human dignity in the face of oppression.”
In his Special Tribute, Senator Mark E. Huizenga wrote: "This day marks a significant milestone in recognizing the immeasurable contributions Falun Dafa has made to individuals worldwide, including here in Michigan.”
The art exhibition was held in two Colombia cities, Sáchica and Medellín, during late March and early April. Many visitors learned about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China for the first time at the exhibition.
