Those Who Know the Truth Resist the Persecution

(Minghui.org) After the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution began in 1999, I was discharged from the army and worked for a local government. Because most of the government employees followed the CCP, they were atheist. Affected by the competitive market economy and the CCP, they quickly became corrupt. The officials indulged in sensual pleasures, and the regular employees fantasized about getting rich overnight. Most of them used their power to embezzle and deduct public funds.

After I began practicing Falun Dafa, I no longer pursued self-interest like my coworkers, and I stopped exerting my authority at work. I only thought about how to let the people know the truth about the CCP’s persecution, and how to be a good person, and how to truly do my job well and serve people.

I worked hard and served people patiently and enthusiastically. Over time, my workers and supervisors felt my kindness and selflessness, so they liked me. The public also felt they met a civil servant who was different from other government employees. One person said, “Why are you different from other government employees? If all government employees in our country were like you, then the country would be better and there would be hope.”

I said, “I practice Falun Dafa, so I’m different from the CCP officials. If everyone follows Falun Dafa’s teachings, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, then the country would be better and people would see hope.”　

I was later seized and taken to a brainwashing class. Several administrators and staff members of my unit complained and said the police were outrageous because they persecuted such a good person. After I was released from the brainwashing class, the local 610 Office told the head of my department to monitor me. I continued working hard as always, and at the same time, I found opportunities to clarify the truth to my colleagues and supervisors about the persecution and encourage them to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

After the unit head understood the truth, he told me and said the 610 Office went too far. It forced people to be spies to monitor good people and do such shameful things. After we talked, he tore up the 610 Office’s monitoring form in front of me.

The local police and community staffers sometimes came to harass the unit, but they were blocked by the unit’s personnel department. Sometimes I didn’t know that someone came to harass me until I was told afterwards.

When the unit selected the best employee, the document from the upper level stated that Falun Dafa practitioners had to be excluded. The department head thought that if I could not participate in the selection, everyone would think it was unfair, and unreasonable. As a result, the department head deleted this clause in the document.

Since that year, I’ve been rated as an outstanding civil servant for three consecutive years and I was awarded a third-class merit. As a cultivator, I am indifferent to fame, wealth, and emotion in the world, and I don’t seek these things. However, the clause in the document issued by the upper level regarding persecution of Dafa and discrimination against practitioners was deleted by this government department. This is also a denial of the persecution as a Chinese and as a government department, and it is also very meaningful.

Whenever I think of this, I think that Master is so compassionate, Dafa is so good, and it really has infinite power. When we truly do a good job of assimilating ourselves to Dafa, we can experience the power of the Fa and what it means to be illuminated by the Buddha’s light and to be perfect in propriety and righteousness.
