Toronto: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest at Chinese Consulate (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) July 20, 2011, was the 12th anniversary of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The verified death toll of has now reached 3428.

Despite of extreme heat warning in Toronto, more than one hundred Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate to call for an end to the persecution at 11:55 a.m. on July 20, 2011. Several Falun Gong practitioners who had personally experienced the persecution gave speeches to expose the CCP's brutal crimes. Following the rally, practitioners held truth-clarification activities on the street. A solemn candlelight vigil was held in the evening to mourn the practitioners in China who have died in the persecution.

Vancouver, Canada: Candlelight Vigil Commemorates Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured to Death in China during the Past 12 Years (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of July 19, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate to commemorate fellow practitioners who have been tortured to death by the Communist regime. The practitioners, holding portraits of fellow practitioners and candles, sat in a line several hundred feet long, catching the attention of passersby and reminding people of the ongoing 12-year-long persecution in China.

Hong Kong: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Candlelight Vigil to Call for an End to the Persecution (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Two hundred Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong braved the rain to hold a candlelight vigil at the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong (LOCPG) on the evening of July 20, 2011. They mourned their fellow Falun Gong practitioners in China who died as a result of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution and called for an end to the unprecedented persecution that has been going on for 12 years.
