Ms. Zhou Yuntian Died Shortly after Being Transferred Out of Shanghai Prison General Hospital

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhou Yuntian, 50, lived in the Changning District of Shanghai. On August 6, 2008, she was taken from the Changning District Detention Center to the Shanghai City Zhoupu Prison General Hospital. She fell unconscious on the morning of August 7. The doctors diagnosed her, saying that she had no hope of survival. That same afternoon, the prison administration processed her paperwork so that she could be bailed out on medical parole within two hours. On August 8, 2008, she died only three minutes after being taken to an outside hospital. Her son is currently still detained in the Changning District Detention Center. The details are yet to be investigated.

In 1958, Ms. Liu developed extreme pain in both eyes. Within two weeks, she became blind in her right eye. In 1995, she began practicing Falun Gong, and within two weeks, she had regained sight in her right eye. She also became more peaceful, healthy, and compassionate.

Ms. Zhang Qiuhong Dies in Anhui Province As a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Qiuhong, 60, lived in the Coal-mine Design Institute's family housing Building 13, Apt. 601 in Luyang District, Hefei City, Anhui Province. On October 16, 2005, Luyang District Domestic Security Division Leader Wang Lu led a group of officers to storm into Ms. Zhang's home and attempt to arrest her, but she was not home. They waited for about three hours, but she did not show up.
