Falun Dafa practitioners held a march in central Vancouver on August 24 to call attention to and help end the Chinese Communist Party’s 26-year-long persecution. They also congratulated the 450 million people who quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Many people were happy to learn that Falun Dafa is taught for free and were interested in trying the exercises, while others who learned about the persecution asked why major media outlets did not report on this serious issue.
At their event at the Gedempte Gracht shopping center, a popular tourist destination, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, distributed flyers, and collected signatures on a petition calling to end the CCP’s persecution.
