(Minghui.org) When I went out to clarify the facts with another Dafa practitioner, it suddenly started to rain. Since we hadn’t brought umbrellas, we got into a tricycle taxi driven by a middle-aged man.
As we rode, we told him about Falun Dafa. He nodded and said, “I’ve been driving for years and met many people, but I enjoy talking with Dafa practitioners the most. I know you’re good people. You’ve given me lots of good things such as booklets, amulets, and even a sachet embroidered with ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Look, it’s still hanging in my vehicle! I believe what you say. When I face danger and ask Master Li for protection, it really works!”
He then shared an incredible story:
Two thugs once took a ride in his tricycle. When he drove them to their destination, they refused to pay, and one of them even got aggressive and threatened him. The driver became angry and told them the ride was not free and asked if they thought they were above other people. One of the thugs became aggressive and lunged at him. In desperation, the driver quietly called out, “Master Li, please help me!”
To his amazement, the thug suddenly stopped, as if drained of energy. Instead of hitting the tricycle driver, he pulled out a 100-yuan bill and handed it over. The driver gave him back 90 yuan in change, and the two men walked away.
He calmed down from the shock and thought back to what had just happened. It was obvious that Master protected him. He pressed his palms together and recited in his heart over and over again: “Thank you, Master Li, for your blessing! Thank you, Master Li, for your blessing!”
That night, he shared the story with his family. His wife was moved to tears and said, “Thank goodness we quit the CCP [Chinese Communist Party]. Thank goodness you called out for help. Otherwise, who knows what would’ve happened.” She praised Dafa and said she also wanted to practice Falun Dafa. His daughter then chimed in and asked about quitting the Young Pioneers [an affiliated organization of the CCP] as well, “Dad, if you meet any practitioners, help me quit too!”
The tricycle driver said he’d been waiting for that opportunity ever since. And now that he met us, he asked us to help his daughter quit the Young Pioneers, using her nickname, Juanzi.
As he finished the story, the rain stopped. We got out of the cab, paid the fare, and waved goodbye. Watching him drive off, we felt truly happy for him and his family. How wise and fortunate they are! We wished them all the best for choosing a bright future.
May more people be like this driver and his family, who understand the truth about Dafa. They will board the great Fa boat heading toward a bright new era.
