Clarifying the Truth to All Kinds of People

(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 2013. Every day for over 10 years, I studied and memorized Zhuan Falun in the morning, went out to clarify the truth to people in the afternoon, and studied Master’s other lectures in the evening. Over the years, I have reached out to all kinds of people.

Countering Harassment by Police Officers

Three police officers came to my home to harass me because I submitted a lawsuit against former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin. One of them asked me if I had been “transformed.” I told him I follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person and asked, “What would I be ‘transformed’ to from that? Take a look at what is written in this Dafa book.” They didn’t want to read it, so I offered to read them a passage. An officer stopped me and said they just wanted to ask me if I still practiced.

“Yes, I do. I want to tell you, you must not persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Remember that ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’” The officers began yelling at me and stormed out.

A year later, two other police officers came. I told them about the Stone in Guizhou City with the Hidden Characters that say “the CCP will perish.” I also explained why they should quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They refused to quit and started threatening me. I pointed at one of them and said, “Officer, I am trying to be a good person, but you always bring people here to harass me. Let me tell you, if I have any issues in the future, I will find you.” His attitude changed immediately and he hastily said that he wouldn’t bother me anymore. And he never came to my home again.

Two years later, I saw this officer in the neighborhood. I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements influencing him and then greeted him. When he asked me who I was, I took off my sunglasses and face mask. “Do you remember me?” I asked. He said he did and asked me where I was going.

I toldl him I had something important to tell him, but he said he was busy. I said, “You need to quit the CCP. Heaven is about to eliminate it, and everyone knows it. I will help you quit, and only divine beings will know about it. It’s better to take a stance now than regret later.” He thought for a moment and agreed to quit. I also said, “Don’t harass Falun Dafa practitioners anymore. I’m telling you this for your own good.” He nodded, and I felt very happy for him.

In May of last year, I was clarifying the truth near the market and saw a man in his 50s with a bag of vegetables. I went over to him and said, “The COVID situation is very severe now. Do you know about quitting the CCP to stay safe? Has anyone told you about it?”

He replied, “Why? Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?”

It was then I realized he was wearing police pants and leather shoes. I had run into a policeman! I silently asked Master for help, then laughed out loud. He was confused. “I’m a police officer. I specialize in arresting Falun Gong practitioners.” I laughed again, and he said, “You don’t believe me? Let me show you my ID.” He held the vegetables in one hand and took out his police ID with the other.

I thought to myself, “Master is next to me, and I’m not afraid of anything.I explained, “Even if you are a police officer, I still have to tell you the truth about Dafa. The whole world knows that Dafa is good. Jiang Zemin said that Falun Dafa would be eradicated in three months. Yet now the practice has spread throughout the world. Those who persecute Falun Dafa are now suffering retribution. Dafa is about cultivating oneself and doing good things. We are here to save good people!”

He pointed to a building 50 meters ahead and said, “That’s the police station. Do you dare to follow me there?”

I replied, “Many people in the police station have quit the CCP. Don’t be foolish.” I sent forth righteous thoughts as I spoke, and he finally softened.

“Everything I’ve told you is true. Although you didn’t quit the CCP today, you know the truth about Dafa. When you are in danger, you must remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ This is a life-saving mantra. And you must treat Falun Dafa practitioners well!” His attitude changed. He said I was free to go and told me not to go out and talk about these things in the future.

After walking a few steps, I turned back and repeated, “When you are in danger, you must remembe ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’” He nodded.

Clarifying the Truth to the Driver of a Fancy Car

Some fellow practitioners shared that it was usually more difficult for wealthy people to accept the truth about Dafa. I do not agree. As long as we thoroughly clarify the truth to them, they can be saved.

I saw someone sitting in a fancy car. I knocked on the window and saw a middle-aged man. He looked down his nose at me and asked why I’d knocked. I said politely, “Hello, sir, I have something important to tell you. Do you know that quitting the CCP can ensure your safety?”

He replied, “My car is fully insured. I already have an insurance company.” He thought I was an insurance agent.

I said, “You spend a lot of money on insurance, right?”

He said, “Of course. Everything is covered if there’s an accident.”

“But can it save your life?” I asked. I told him the facts about Dafa and why one should quit the CCP. “What I said is true, and you don’t have to spend a penny.”

He asked if I was a Falun Gong practitioner. I replied, “Yes, I am. Dafa’s Master asks us to save people. You are blessed. Would you like to quit the CCP?” I further clarified the truth to him and handed him a booklet. He took it and agreed to quit the CCP.

I asked him to pass along the booklet to his family and friends and that, if he did, he would be blessed. “Really?” he asked.

I said, “Dafa disciples cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Everything I told you is true.”

Saving People Without Differentiating

I do not differentiate between people and will clarify the truth to anyone I encounter. During the pandemic, the food delivery business was very popular, so I wanted to clarify the truth to the delivery people. A fellow practitioner said, “These people all come and go in such a hurry. They just want to make money. They won’t listen.” But I thought that whenever there was an opportunity, I should try to save them.

I also try to save everyone in my residential community. Whenever I meet people in the common area, I chat with them and bring up the topic of quitting the CCP. All the residents in my unit from the first floor to the sixth floor have quit the CCP. If a new person moves in, I visit them as their new neighbor and bring them amulets and truth-clarification materials. In most cases, they quit the CCP.

When my husband and I went out of town, my son’s friends took us out to eat. I clarified the truth to them about Dafa and asked them to quit the CCP. My husband, who doesn’t practice Falun Dafa, also chimed in, “Quit the CCP now. The CCP is so evil. It will be good for you to quit it!” Everyone at the table gladly agreed to quit.

On another occasion, there were workers doing construction outside the community gate. I hesitated at first and thought it would be embarrassing if my neighbors saw me talking to them. But then I thought to myself, “What kind of attachment is this? I have to get rid of it! Only when my heart is pure can I save people.” So I walked over and clarified the truth to them.

One of them said, “I only care about making money. Nothing else is important!”

I replied, “Making money is a good thing, but you have to save your life first. How great is it to have money and be safe?” He asked how he could be safe. I said in a loud voice, “You all please listen carefully: ‘Quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When you joined it, you made a poisonous oath.’” They all asked what oath.

I explained, “When you joined the CCP, the Youth League, or the Young Pioneers, you raised your fist and said you would dedicate your life to communism. That oath must be erased. Gods remember it. Only by quitting the CCP and these organizations can you save your life. It won’t cost you a penny. There are so many plagues, earthquakes, and floods nowadays. These are gods eliminating people associated with the evil CCP. You are all good people. Why would you want to perish along with it? Let’s all quit the CCP, okay?” They all agreed in unison.

I also talked to them about how the CCP fabricated the Tiananmen self-immolation to slander Falun Dafa. I took out amulets and they all wanted one. I said, “Come, one by one, and tell me your name and what organization you joined.” They surrounded me, and I wrote down their names and handed out amulets and booklets to each of them. In less than half an hour, nine people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When I was about to leave, someone suddenly yelled out, “Falun Dafa is good!” I looked back at him and truly understood that these beings came to the world just for this moment.

Clarifying the Truth after Being Hit by a Car

I was once hit by a car when I was out clarifying the truth. I fell onto the curb, and my electric bike landed on top of me. I was in such great pain that I could barely speak. A man, a women, and a child got out of the car and asked if I was okay.

I endured the pain and said I was fine. The wife wanted to help me up. I asked Master for help in my heart, gritted my teeth, and stood up by myself. There were many bystanders. The man asked, “How should we handle this?” He was getting ready to compensate me.

I saw the many people watching us and knew it was a great opportunity to clarify the truth, so I said in a loud voice, “I’m a Falun Dafa practitioner. I will not try to blackmail you. You did not do this on purpose.” The man breathed a sigh of relief.

I said to the three of them, “Do you know about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” They said they did not, so I asked if they had ever joined the CCP, the Youth League, or the Young Pioneers. When the woman replied that she’d joined the Youth League, I said, “You should quit.”

She exclaimed, “I will quit it.”

I then asked the man, “What about you?” When he said he’d joined the Young Pioneers, I said, “Quit it!” and he agreed.

I took out some truth-clarification materials from my bag and gave them to him. He handed them to his son, who was about 18 years old. I asked the boy, “What have you joined?” He said nothing, so I asked, “How is that possible? Haven’t you been to school?” His father said he had joined the Young Pioneers.

I exclaimed, “My boy, you should quit it. It will be good for you if you quit it!” The boy hesitated, while he covered the car license plate with his body. His mother said, “Quit!” The boy finally agreed.

Just then, a bystander said, “The information you gave them is on the ground.” The boy probably threw it there. I said to him, “This information will save you. Why did you throw it away?” His father got angry and yelled at him, “Pick it up! Put it in the car!” The man understood that I was a good person and was trying to save their family.

It was just after school let out, so there were many people watching. I put my heart at ease and told the bystanders the truth about Falun Dafa: “Jiang Zemin was jealous of the number of people practicing Falun Dafa. He launched the persecution and fabricated the Tiananmen self-immolation to slander Dafa. Many of us were poisoned by the lies. Falun Dafa saves people and help them to become kinder. The Master of Falun Dafa tells us to consider others when we do anything and to save people, even during the persecution. What’s wrong with Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance? You tell me, is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance good?”

One of the bystanders blurted out, “It is good!” I said, “If I didn’t practice Falun Dafa, there’s no telling what I would have asked for. Since you were fully responsible, wouldn’t it have cost you tens of thousands of yuan to take me to the hospital? But my Master told me to consider others first. I don’t need you to pay me anything. You are free to go.”

No one expected it to end just like that, and everyone looked at me in admiration. The man kept saying, “Thank you! Thank you.” I said, “Don’t thank me. You should thank Dafa’s Master. Remember to read the materials when you get home. Also remember that ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’” I then said to the bystanders, “Everyone, please remember these words!”

Back home, I saw that both my left leg and arm were purple, and I could only sleep on my right side. If it weren’t for Master’s protection, who knows what would have happened to me?

Since 2013, I have helped about 6,000 people quit the CCP. By doing so, I’ve gotten rid of many human attachments, and my realm has been elevating constantly. When others laughed at or cursed me, I was able to maintain a peaceful state of mind and treat them with kindness. In the process, Master was helping me, enlightening me, and shaping me. My human mentalities such as fear, impatience, and competitiveness became less and less.

Master said,

“So for our Dafa disciples, clarifying the facts in actuality far transcends your personal cultivation. Your personal cultivation only makes for the fulfillment of one being, yet the role that you serve in saving sentient beings makes for the fulfillment of a great multitude of Main-Body beings, boundless numbers of beings, and even greater cosmic bodies—that’s how big what you are shouldering is!” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2004 Chicago Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World, Volume IV)

Each time I read this, I am even more determined to save people.
