(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Zhuqin Arrested

5. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiu Yanpeng Taken to Prison
6. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xianbi Taken to Detention Center
1. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Zhuqin Arrested
Ms. Zhao Zhuqin was reported to the police when she used paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them to buy things. Police officers from Pingchuan District broke into her home on the afternoon of March 9, 2024, ransacked the place, and arrested her. Ms. Zhao was held in the Baiyin City Detention Center. The police threatened to sentence her to at least three years in prison.
2. [Ci County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Miying Arrested
Ms. Xu Miying from Beidougong Village, Xinzhuangying Township, Ci County, was arrested for distributing information about Falun Gong by officers from the Chengnan Police Station and the Huaguanying Police Station in the Jinan New District, Handan City, on November 14, 2023. They went to her home and arrested her husband, son, and daughter, who are not practitioners.
Ms. Xu’s husband, son, and daughter were later released after making a payment of 60,000 yuan. The police station threatened her family members and demanded a 250,000 yuan payment in exchange for her release. Ms. Xu is currently being held in Handan City No. 3 Detention Center.
3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Fu Xinghua Arrested
Fu Xinghua (gender unknown) was arrested at home on the morning of March 13, 2024.
4. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Wu Zengshu’s Home Ransacked
The village head of Sidaoheng Village in Yongqing County led five officers from the county police department to the home of 86-year-old Wu Zengshu on the morning of March 12, 2024. They forced their way in, harassed Wu, and videotaped the proceedings. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, printed materials, calendars, couplets, and even Wu’s small purple clay teapot that was a family heirloom.
5. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiu Yanpeng Taken to Prison
Ms. Xiu Yanpeng, 45, was arrested in March 2023. She was later sentenced to three years in prison and held in a public security hospital due to her health. On March 10, 2024, it was reported that Ms. Xiu had been admitted to Shandong Province Women’s Prison.
6. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xianbi Taken to Detention Center
Ms. Liu Xianbi, 65, from Jinqiao Town, Pengxi County, went to a friend’s home in mid-February 2024. She was arrested by people who followed her and taken to the Suining City Detention Center in Yongxing Town.
