(Minghui.org) In an attempt to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their faith, the Liaoning Provincial Second Women’s Prison has been instigating inmates to transform and torture the practitioners using various brutal methods.
Below are several torture cases from the Fourth Division that occurred between March 2023 and August 2024.
Every month, Falun Gong practitioners are forced to write thought reports twice. The captain of the cell then reviews it. If they aren’t satisfied, they order the practitioners to rewrite it.
A practitioner in the Team 5 once refused to be transformed. A guard then used a loudspeaker to defame Falun Gong and its founder in an attempt to force the practitioner to submit.
Ms. Wang Qingrong, 73, was sentenced to five years in prison and admitted to Team 2 in the prison in late 2021. She recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day and urged the inmates and guards to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. The guards retaliated by making her stand from morning until the second half of the night. Her legs were so sore from standing that she had difficulty squatting. An insider revealed that she had been sent to the hospital.
Ms. Wang Jiemei, a retired teacher in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, was sentenced to 3.5 years. She was admitted to the prison on March 25, 2023. She was forced to work for 10 to 11 hours a day in Team 4 at the Fourth Division, and often beaten by inmates. An inmate suddenly doused her with cold water one day in early May 2023, while she was washing up. Another time, the inmates hit her head when she was a little slow in doing something. At night, the inmates often woke her up and demanded that she accompany them to the restroom. She was unable to sleep all night. The inmates openly said that they did this to her because she is a Falun Gong practitioner.
A practitioner in Team 6 had her mouth taped by the inmates when she shouted “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She was also beaten and forced to stand until the second half of the night.
