(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Qian Detained for Three Months and Counting
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shan Shulan and Ms. Si Lijuan Arrested
3. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Arrested and Detained
1. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Qian Detained for Three Months and Counting
Ms. Chen Qian was arrested on August 23, 2024, and her home was ransacked. She has since been held in a detention center.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shan Shulan and Ms. Si Lijuan Arrested
Ms. Shan Shulan, around 70 years old, along with Ms. Si Lijuan, were reported to the police for talking about Falun Gong in a residential community. They were arrested by officers from the Chujia Police Station in Laishan District on the morning of May 22, 2024. Ms. Shan was released on bail in the evening; Ms. Si was released on bail the next morning.
3. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Geng Lijuan was arrested by officers on October 28, 2024. She is currently being detained in the Chengnan Detention Center.
Ms. Geng was initially denied admission by the detention center because she was twice diagnosed with intermittent premature heartbeats. However, Chen Haibin, the head of the Dongliang Police Station in Fumeng County, forced the detention center to admit her using his personal connections.
