(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Tried in Court

6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Yanping Arrested and Detained
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yinghua Tried in Court

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jin Yumei Harassed

11. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Zhao Fuyun Arrested
1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Tried in Court
Ms. Gao was tried in court on December 18, 2023. Because she did not follow orders during the trial, she will be tried again.
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Ruilin and Her Husband Mr. Huang Keming Arrested
Ms. Peng Ruilin and her husband Mr. Huang Keming, both 71, were arrested at their home by officers from the Luojiashan Police Station in Wuchang District at 6 p.m. on December 12, 2023. Their home was ransacked that night, and many personal belongings were confiscated. Mr. Huang was released at 11 a.m. on December 13, 2023 due to his poor health. That evening the family learned that Ms. Peng was taken to the Wuchang District Brainwashing Center.
3. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yuan Qingshan Faces Trial
Mr. Yuan Qingshan, who lives near the old farmer’s market, was arrested on September 9, 2023. His home was ransacked and many personal belongings were confiscated. Mr. Yuan will be tried in court soon.
4. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Ding Qian Faces Trial
Mr. Ding Qian was scheduled to be tried in the Wuzhong Intermediate Court at 2 p.m. on December 27, 2023.
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xi Guoxiu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Xi Guoxiu was arrested at home by twelve officers from the Sixin Police Station and the Hanyang District Police Department at midnight on October 24, 2023. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her computer, cell phone, and other personal belongings. She was arrested on suspicion of distributing truth-clarifying booklets in the Taizi Guanlan Residential Community. Ms. Xi denied the accusation but was still taken to the No. 1 Detention Center on the afternoon of October 25, 2023. She was placed under official arrest by the Hanyang District Procuratorate on November 9, 2023.
6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Yanping Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhu Yanping lives in Xidi Village, Banjita Town, Linghai City. She was reported to police for distributing calendars which had information about Falun Gong to local villagers, and was arrested by officers from the Banjita Town Police Station on December 14, 2023. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Zhu is being held in the Jinzhou City Women’s Detention Center.
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yinghua Tried in Court
Ms. Liu Yinghua was arrested on June 4, 2023 along with more than ten other practitioners. Judge Li Zhongcheng from the Chuanying District Court informed Ms. Liu’s family over the phone on December 4, 2023 that she was tried in court and fined 3000 yuan.
8. [Beijing] Zhang Sufeng Missing
Zhang Sufeng (gender unknown) from the Wangjing area, has been missing for many days.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jin Yumei Harassed
Ms. Jin Yumei works at the Wuhan Technology University. She was previously reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested and detained.
When Ms. Jin and her son were traveling to her hometown on November 2, 2023 they were constantly stopped and had to show their IDs. Her husband received a call, warning him that Ms. Jin was not allowed to go to Shanghai to see her grandson before November 10, 2023.
10. [Pengxi County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Mo Shanyi Harassed
Mr. Mo Shanyi, in his 30s, was found to have Falun Gong messages in his cell phone when he worked in another city. Someone told the Sanfeng Police Station. Mr. Mo was told that he was not allowed to leave his hometown to work in other cities. He must report to the police if he plans to travel. The police also constantly come to his home to check on him, which causes his parents great financial and mental pressure.
11. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Zhao Fuyun Arrested
Zhao Fuyun (gender unknown) was arrested at home in Dongwangpo Village of Wangpo Township by officers from the Nandian Police Station on December 20, 2023. Zhao was interrogated and later released.
