Fulfilling My Mission and Saving More Sentient Beings

(Minghui.org) I am an 88-year-old Dafa practitioner who obtained the Fa in 1996. I was a university teacher before I retired, and I also taught in middle schools for over ten years. I taught thousands of students who became my audience for clarifying the truth. I had my largest audience at the annual students' gathering. I have persuaded around 800 of my students to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations over the past 20 years. My audience included scientists, officers, soldiers, industrial experts, leaders, and government officials.

The student reunions were canceled for the past three years because of the CCP virus pandemic. I lost this opportunity to clarify the truth and save people. I therefore adjusted my direction and started to clarify the truth face-to-face in the parks. There are many parks in my area, including a few large ones. There are also many benches in the parks which allow me to sit down, have a long conversation with people, and fully clarify the truth. The disadvantage is that I can only speak to three or four people per day on average. It was extremely rare that I spoke to more than eight people, and there were many times when there was no one. I regretted not being able to save more people, as Master repeatedly told us to do. Finally Master saw my heart and arranged for me to meet up with predestined people.

I was sitting on a bench at a central bus stop in March of this year, ready to transfer back home. I saw two elderly people holding medicine after visiting the hospital. I thought they may be predestined people arranged by Master to hear the truth. I approached and greeted them. I found out they were farmers, and the large hospital nearby is their designated hospital to visit under the public health scheme. Many farmers come here for the same reason and need to transfer at this bus station. I suddenly understood that Master arranged for me to come here to save more people.

It took me only 40 minutes to clarify the truth to the passengers and persuade six people to withdraw from the CCP. Since then, the main place I clarify the truth at is the bus stops. There are two large bus stops near the hospital, and I also found other bus stops near my home, as there are three other large hospitals nearby. They became the perfect place for me to clarify the truth.

I have taken turns at these bus stops almost every day since March of this year to clarify the truth to the public. I used to only go out in the morning. Since clarifying the truth at the bus stops has such a good effect, I really cherished the opportunity and also went out every afternoon. I could usually help 10 to 20 people and sometimes even close to 30 people every day. My rough estimate is that I have clarified the truth and successfully persuaded over 1,500 people to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations over the past four months.

I have experienced many touching encounters when clarifying the truth at the bus stops. Below are a few examples to share with fellow practitioners.

Encounter with a Student I Taught Half a Century Ago

I once talked to a gentleman in his 70s about Falun Dafa. I asked for his last name, as I wanted to help him withdraw from the CCP. He also asked me for my last name. He suddenly told me anxiously, “Please take off your mask!” Although it felt a little strange, I took off my mask. When he saw my face, he almost screamed, “You are my teacher! I am your student!”

It turned out that he was my student who graduated during the Cultural Revolution half-a-century prior, and we hadn’t seen each other for more than 50 years. It was very rare for him to be at that bus stop. I told him many things, mainly the truth about Falun Dafa. He understood what I told him. He accepted the Dafa amulet and Master’s New Article “How Humankind Came To Be.” I am very grateful for Master’s compassionate arrangement.

“Do You Know Me?”

I was sitting on a bench at the bus stop one day when an elderly man walked by. I greeted him and asked him to sit down. He asked me, “Do you know me?” I was stunned for a moment and had to say, “You look familiar. We must have met somewhere.” After introducing ourselves, it turned out we had indeed met many times over 20 years prior, when we were both teachers. His very good friend used to be my neighbor. We got closer immediately and had a very good conversation. I naturally took the opportunity to tell him a lot about Falun Dafa and convinced him to withdraw from the CCP.

He Raised Arms and Shouted, “Falun Dafa Is Good”

An old farmer in his 60s once told me he could not participate in the insurance for seniors because he only received a monthly subsidy of 170 yuan. I said, “Nowadays farmers suffer the most. Society is very unfair and the Communist Party is so corrupt that it not only doesn’t care about the lives of ordinary people but also boasts about how the people are so well-off.”

He agreed with what I said. He told me how the Communist Party was defrauding the people. I went on to say, “Health and safety are the most important things for the elderly. Let me tell you something useful. Often reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good’ can keep you safe and healthy and bring good luck in distress.” I also gave him a Dafa amulet.

He was very excited to hold the amulet in his hands and happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. When the bus arrived he squeezed into the crowd of passengers and suddenly held the amulet in his hand, raised his arms toward the sky, and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” It immediately attracted the attention of many people. The scene was very touching and his voice resounded through the sky.

Please Give Me Another Amulet

I once clarified the truth to an elderly man and told him the auspicious words “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good,” which would keep him safe and healthy. I also gave him a Dafa amulet. He was very happy and felt that the amulet was very precious. Suddenly he said with a look of earnest in his eyes, “Thank you so much! Could you please give me another amulet? My wife is sick. I would like to have another one by her side.” I immediately took out another and gave it to him. He was very grateful and thanked me repeatedly.

Many of the passengers at the bus stops are elderly farmers who do not know how to spell the words “Falun Dafa is good.” I need to use the amulets to let them truly understand. Over the past few months, I have used up all the amulets and had to show them the sample I have. When someone hears I did not have any more amulets, they are very sorry. Some asked me to write it down on a piece of paper. Some took a photo of the amulet using their cellphones. This scene was really moving! I truly experienced peoples’ strong desire to listen to the truth about Dafa and be saved.

“Are You a Dafa Disciple?”

Once I saw an elderly man walking with a limp and took the initiative to greet him. I learned that he suffered from a cerebral infarction ten years ago and had aftereffects. He had to take medicine and came to pick up the prescription from the hospital that day. I took the opportunity to clarify the truth and asked him to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good.” He was very excited, “Are you a Dafa practitioner?” Because of security issues, I usually don’t reveal my identity as a Dafa practitioner. Facing the sudden question, I thought a little and asked what I could help him with. He told me he used to practice Falun Dafa and asked whether I could get him a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. I saw his sincerity and made an appointment to meet with him again.

I prepared Zhuan Falun, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, Dafa amulets, and Master’s Fa teachings. When I arrived at the bus stop as scheduled, he was waiting for me. Since there were cameras everywhere at the bus stop, we left there and sat down in a nearby park. I learned that he had not practiced since the CCP launched its persecution of Dafa on July 20, 1999. There are two elderly practitioners in his township still practicing, but they do not have any truth-clarifying materials or know the three things that Master has told us to do well. I gave him a detailed introduction. I also wrote down some of the information beforehand in case he could not remember all of it. He was very happy. I was also very happy to have a fellow practitioner return to the path of Dafa cultivation.

Took the Wrong Bus

Many times I took the wrong bus or missed my stop to exit the bus for no reason as I was returning home from talking to people about Dafa. I had no choice but to get off the bus at the next stop. Initially I felt regret and wondered if I was too told and confused. The amazing thing was that after getting off the bus, I always encountered a few predestined people at the bus stop and clarified the truth about Dafa to them. After this happened many times, I realized that Master had arranged for me to save the people at those bus stops. I was very excited and was deeply grateful for Master’s compassionate arrangements.

During the process of clarifying the truth, some things did not go well. I experienced disbelief, interference, criticism, and even being reported to the authorities. However, none of this affected my determination to go out every day to clarify the truth and save people. Every time I went out, I met some predestined people. I truly feel that Master is always by my side to protect me, enlighten me, and bring predestined people to me. Master has arranged everything.

The Fa-rectification process has transitioned toward the stage of the Fa-rectification of the human world. The time for us to cultivate and save sentient beings is short. I truly experience that more and more people are eager to understand the truth and be saved. We are now running against time and must hurry to cultivate ourselves well and save sentient beings.

Although I am nearly 90 years old, Master has extended my lifespan. I firmly remember my mission to cultivate myself well, clarify the truth, and save more people. Moreover, Master has already paved the way for everything. All we need to do is run errands and move our mouths. I still find many attachments when looking inward, such as zealotry, showing off, doing things, and attachment to my age. I must be vigilant and ensure that the old forces don’t attack me. I have to cultivate myself to eliminate all the human notions and attachments. I must walk on the path of godhood. I must hold righteous thoughts and fulfill the vows I made upon coming to this world, complete my historical mission, and return home with Master.
