“I Thank Master for Giving Me a New Life”

Vivian was born into an artistic family in Vietnam. Although she was well off financially, she became arrogant, complacent, and controlling. As an adult, she took up bad habits such as drinking, smoking, and gambling. At the age of 20, she was already bankrupt. Her parents were heartbroken and couldn’t believe that their daughter had fallen so low.

Vivian immigrated to the United States and married, but her life was not happy. Bad things happened one after another. Her husband’s family complained about her and insulted her for no reason, and her business was not doing well. Even worse, she had stage three breast cancer and fibroids on her vocal cords. At 30, she was suffering from so many serious health problems that she didn’t know where her life would end up. She was very depressed and just wanted to end her life.

Vivian found out about Falun Dafa through her second husband in 2017. After she started to practice Dafa, she realized the mistakes she had committed and the bad attachments she had. Vivian said, “After reading Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, I cried many times. I had unintentionally created karma for myself, and I wanted to change that. After practicing Dafa, I kept looking inward and tried to maintain a peaceful and compassionate state of mind. I wanted to become a better person and cultivate with a simple wish: to change myself into a kind and good person.”

Vivian and her husband appreciate Master for giving them a new life.

Now Vivian and her husband operate a Vietnamese restaurant, which they kept open during the three-year pandemic. No matter how bad the situation was, they took good care of their employees, paid them full wages, and solved their problems and conflicts with wisdom and calmness.

Vivian and her husband work 10 to 12 hours a day. Although it is hard work, they are healthy and practical and their lives are meaningful. The couple always smiles and their hearts are filled with happiness. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Vivian said, “Thank you, Master, for giving us a new life! Thank you, Master. I wish you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!”
