Telling People the Truth about Dafa on the Bus

(Minghui.org) On a Sunday in April, I went out with another practitioner to tell people the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa. The bus we took was crowded, and the conductor found seats for us because we were elderly. After thanking the conductor, we gave our seats away. While I was thinking about how to tell so many people about Dafa, a woman and a female student started to quarrel over a seat. The woman said she couldn’t stand because she had leg pain, and the student said the woman was unreasonable and refused to give up her seat. The argument got worse, and everyone on the bus started talking about it.

I suddenly realized that Master Li was creating this opportunity to help us clarify the truth, so I went over and urged them to stop arguing. I said we should treat each other with kindness, be tolerant when things happen, and consider each other. I asked, “Have you ever heard of Falun Dafa? It is the great law of the universe, and it teaches people to be good according to the universal values of Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance.”

They listened attentively, and I said to the woman, “If your leg hurts, just recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you will be fine.” I also told them, “At the new year, the Master of Falun Dafa said the following in his new scripture “How Humankind Came To Be:”

“So no matter whether you are rich or poor in life, you should be sure to do good, refrain from doing bad things, stay good and kind, be spiritual and devout, and be happy to help others. And by doing so you will build up blessings and virtue, and reap their rewards in the next life.” (“How Humankind Came To Be”)

The student stood up and said to me, “Grandma, come sit here!” I realized Master’s Fa had awakened her kindness, so I thanked her and said, “I’m a practitioner. I don’t get tired standing up.” Many people in the bus nodded in approval.

At this time, the conductor took out a small bench and insisted that I sit on it. I gave the small bench to the young man standing next to me, and he politely gave it back to me. We started to chat and I learned he was a college student. I said, “You heard what I said just now. Such a great Way has been brutally persecuted by corrupt officials, such as Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan. You are a college student. You must know the history of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) very well.

“Many good people have been persecuted and killed in the Party’s previous campaigns. It is historically inevitable that heaven will eliminate the CCP.” He looked at me intently and kept nodding. I went on to say, “If you have joined the CCP or its affiliates and don’t quit, you will be dragged down with it in the future.” He readily agreed to withdraw and gave me his name. I also advised him to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” to be blessed. He smiled and nodded.

My companion also clarified the truth to five passengers sitting near her, and they all agreed to quit the CCP. We got off that bus, transferred to another, and talked to more than a dozen people. Five students quit the CCP’s affiliated organizations.

When I got home, I was very grateful to Master for always protecting his disciples and thinking of all sentient beings. At this final stage of Fa-rectification, we must cultivate ourselves well and save more sentient beings.
