(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held an information day event in Graz, the second largest city of Austria, on August 19, 2023.
A week before the latest truth-clarifying event, the practitioners also held a similar event in the city center of Sankt Pölten, on August 12, 2023. The practitioners explained the goodness of Falun Dafa to passersby, and exposed the persecution of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). People who understood the truth signed a petition to show their support for ending the persecution.

People signed the petition to help end the ongoing persecution by the CCP, once they understood the facts.
Graz is the second largest city of Austria and is located in the southern foothills of the Alps. It is also the capital city of Steiermark, and is being declared by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
The Falun Dafa practitioners’ truth-clarifying site is located in Prague’s old town. A large banner reading, “Every voice is very important – [Please sign the] petition against organ harvesting [from living practitioners]” attracted the attention of many passersby. People who had not heard about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong learned about it from the practitioners. Many signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. Many people also told the practitioners, “Keep it up,” and “Wish you all success,” and “Thank you very much,” as well as “Hope the persecution ends soon,” etc., giving the practitioners encouragement.
Release Mr. Ding’s Parents
Apart from signing the petition to call for an end to the persecution, many residents also learned about the postcard life-saving movement. This movement’s purpose is to save the parents of Ding Lebin. Mr. Ding is a Falun Dafa practitioner currently studying in Berlin. His parents were illegally arrested by the CCP, because they cultivated in Falun Dafa. Although his mother has been released, she is still being monitored. His father is still being detained. People can sign the postcards that read, “End the persecution of Falun Dafa, Release my parents immediately” and send them to the Chinese Embassy in Berlin to show their support for Mr. Ding’s parents.
Chinese Lady, “Every Person Should Have Freedom of Belief”
A young Chinese lady, who lives in Austria, came to the information booth and told a practitioner that her family did not dare to go near Falun Dafa out of fear, but that she now wanted to learn about it. She listened earnestly as the practitioner told her the facts in Chinese and German. Before leaving she said, “Every person should have the freedom to practice their faith,” and signed the petition. Before leaving, she accepted the Chinese truth-clarifying flier and “The Nine Commentaries” for her family to read.
A gentleman who used to practice Sinologie [the study of Chinese language], spoke to a practitioner for a long time. After that, not only did he sign the petition, he also took the truth-clarifying materials with him to read at home. He also said that he wanted to read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa.
Resident From Sankt Pölten, “Please Continue!”
Falun Dafa practitioners often clarify the truth about the practice in Sankt Pölten. They once again gathered along the busy business streets of Sankt Pölten to set up a truth-clarifying booth on August 12, 2023. A few shop employees also expressed their willingness to let the practitioners place truth-clarifying materials in their shops to show their support for the Falun Dafa practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.

One lady who heard about the CCP’s criminal act of organ harvesting from living practitioners, and felt very sad, said, “Such things are actually going on! Of course I want to sign the petition!”
Another lady told a practitioner that she is Polish and went to Canada to escape communism. After learning about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, she also signed the petition.
Another young man who did not understand what the Falun Dafa practitioners tried to tell him initially, finally understood, and said he thought that the event calling for an end to the persecution was very good. He then encouraged the practitioners, saying, “Please continue.”
