Practitioners present speeches on their experiences in cultivating in Falun Dafa.
Keeping up with Fa-rectification Progress and Seizing the Day
Ms. Dong said that due to family affection, she did not keep up her xinxing, and experienced a year-long illness karma test. She could not straighten out her legs or bend them. The pain was severe when she moved, and she could not walk normally.
She understood, “From the moment we started to cultivate, Master cleaned up our bodies, got rid of the root of our diseases, and removed us from hell. We will not reincarnate, so we aren’t part of the Three Realms. But as we are cultivating in the secular world, we conform to humans. However, the manifestation of human plight reflects the factors for us to improve in cultivation.” Finding the attachment and correcting her mentality, she passed her tribulation soon.
Ms. Dong said she wept while she read Master’s most recent articles, “How Humankind Came Be” and “Why Save Sentient Beings,” and felt the urgency. She realized she needed to cultivate herself well and tell more people about the persecution. She increased the length of time she read the Fa, practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts.
She said, “I feel that Master has guided more people to us to be saved, and the number of people who agree to sign the petition has also increased. As soon as I explain why they need to sign it, they immediately agree. It is obvious that their knowing side is unblocked.”
Improvement While Coordinating
Ms. Lan is in charge of coordinating local activities to introduce Falun Dafa and manages materials. When arranging activities, she encountered problems of coordinating vehicles and weather. The event was canceled due to the weather, and the other practitioners blamed her. She said angrily, “I quit. You guys do it.”
She later realized that she was affected by the old forces, which want to prevent practitioners in Finland from cooperating. By looking inward, she found her attachments. She said, “Through this incident, I saw my desire to keep others from talking. I thought about things from a human standpoint and saw how fellow practitioners treat me. You treat me well, I treat you well. If you treat me badly, then I’ll treat you badly. I didn’t jump out of human notions. I kept arguing about who was right and who was wrong every time. I couldn’t let go of my ego.”
Xinxing Test Encountered While Coordinating Work
When Ms. Lin was coordinating with a Western practitioner, she disliked her tough tone. She later realized the other practitioner’s attitude mirrored her own attachment. She said, “I saw that I behaved like her. My tone of voice was strong, my words were harsh, and I did not consider her feelings. I had no patience and did not want to listen to her opinions. I did not stand on the other side to think about problems and understand the other party. Because I had no patience to listen, I was often driven by the other party’s tone and attitude. I failed to understand what the other person’s real needs were, and was unable to solve the problem well.”
There are more and more young practitioners in Finland. She realizes that if everyone actively participates in projects and plays their roles, studies the Fa and keeps up with their cultivation, the overall environment will improve. Therefore, if there are opportunities, young practitioners will be encouraged to do more and take the initiative. She said she would pay attention to their strengths.
