(Minghui.org) The Tian Guo Marching Band, composed of Falun Dafa practitioners, participated in the annual Winter Magic Festival celebrated in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Spectators said that Falun Dafa practitioners exuded a powerful energy field, were peaceful, and delivered an amazing performance during the festival parade.
The Blue Mountains is one of Australia’s best well known tourist destinations. It is in a rural area west of Sydney, and is known for its phenomenal scenery, unique geographical environment, mountain ranges that appear to be blue in color, the Three Sisters spectacular rock formation, and stunning waterfalls. Many Australian artists, drawn by its beauty, have moved to this area.
This year’s Winter Magic Festival attracted nearly 50,000 people. Post COVID pandemic, the vibrant parade groups and spectators brought a grand, joyous spirit to the small tourist town. The entire parade route was packed with people.
Falun Dafa practitioners were greeted with cheers and applause as they marched past streets crowded with people in the Winter Magic Festival parade.
Many internationally acclaimed performing artists, musicians, dancers, drummers, and choirs participated in the parade this year. Spectators clapped, waved and cheered loudly when they saw the Tian Guo Marching Band approaching. Their music was uplifting. The banners displayed the message “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
Spectators remarked, “The parade lineup of Falun Dafa practitioners was orderly and they struck a great image; their blue and white traditional costumes were exquisite! The music they played was pleasing to the ear, and one could feel the powerful energy field. It was peaceful and amazing. The music was calming and uplifting! This band is spectacular!”
Julie, a spectator, received a lotus flower with the message “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” She commended Falun Dafa practitioners for bringing such a beautiful message to people.
Julie, a festival spectator, said, “The Falun Dafa Tian Guo Marching Band was great! Their music stirred people’s hearts! They reminded me of the famous marching bands I've seen in other parts of the world.”
Julie said she felt that the band’s message, “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” gives people a wonderful sense of purpose that resonated with her. She said, “This banner brings a great message. I am a nurse and it reverberates with me. I try to put such beautiful values into practice in my daily life.”
Robin brought his wife and children to see the parade. When they heard the invigorating music performed by the Tian Guo Marching Band, they danced along with the upbeat music.
Robin said, “The music was amazing, the kids loved it and danced along the street.”
He added that the message, “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” is crucial to society.
