(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in my area released helium-filled balloons into the sky with banners attached with the words “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good” on them one morning of 2003. It was a clear day with a blue sky and puffy, white clouds. It was magnificent seeing so many balloons in the sky. Some people said, “Falun Dafa practitioners are amazing!”

One practitioner was arrested over the incident and told the police about me. I was put on the “wanted” list online. When I was distributing truth-clarification materials with four other practitioners in 2004, I was arrested and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to serve three years.

The guards tried to “transform” me, but I refused to cooperate. In the end, I was the only one who had not been “transformed.” A guard asked if I still practiced Falun Dafa. I said I was not sure. They regarded that as a no and reduced my sentence by six months. I realized that I shouldn’t say things so casually, and told them that I will continue to practice Dafa. The leader said my sentence would not be reduced if that was the case. I told them I didn’t care because I knew Master would protect me.

I refused to do forced labor. When the leader learned this, she was very angry and assigned me to work with the inmates. The workload was heavy there. I had to work from morning until night. The inmates often stole my food and clothes, but I didn’t blame them. The guard learned of this and said to the inmates, “You should learn from Falun Dafa.”

One practitioner from Dalian City cleaned the room for the leader and saw a copy of Zhuan Falun. She took it and gave it to me. It was very risky for her to do this. If the book was found, they would have extended both of our sentences.

One elderly practitioner was very firm in her practice of Falun Dafa. A male guard wrapped her arms with a wire thread so tightly that they bled. The practitioner was very kind and still cleaned the room for this guard. He was so moved and said, “I admire you so much!” On her birthday, he cooked six eggs for her. He said, “Auntie, you are so kind. Help yourself!” The guards admired practitioners who refused to be “transformed.”

Soon after I was released from the labor camp, officers from seven organizations, such as the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC), 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, police station, and the community committee demanded that I renounce my belief. They told me to sign the statement they had prepared, but I refused. My husband tried to sign on my behalf. I said to him loudly, “Whoever signs it is committing a crime.” I asked them to show me the statement. They didn’t because they thought I would tear it up.

A PLAC officer said that they would not allow my daughters to work and would fire my family members. I was not moved. I knew Master was looking after us, and said to him, “Do you want to implicate my family members?” Nobody said anything.

Because I was not “transformed,” my salary was reduced by 200 yuan a month. The PLAC officer said, “If you are transformed this time, your salary will be put back to normal.” I didn’t say anything. My husband assured them that he would take me to the community center the next day and asked them to leave.

He asked our daughters to think about their jobs if I didn’t give in because they would be fired. My younger daughter said, “Don’t be afraid. I don’t want to do that job anyway.” Hearing this, my husband no longer forced me to give up my belief.

The police rented an apartment opposite my home to monitor me for half-a-month. I didn’t want to put my family at risk, so I stayed in my nephew’s home for a while. When Master published a new article, I realized that I should believe in Master and the Fa and not be frightened by the police. I decided to go home. My family worried about me and took me to stay at my sister’s home for a week and then another nephew’s home for another week, but I insisted on going home. As we were driving back home in my husband’s delivery truck, I said to Master in my heart: Master will have the final say. I didn’t have much fear after that and the police haven’t come to harass me.

Someone knocked on my door at 7 a.m. in September 2012. I saw a beautiful young woman through the peephole. I opened the door, and five or six policemen barged in. They said they were arresting me because I practice Falun Dafa. I replied: “Practicing Falun Dafa is not a crime. Being a good person, and complying with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is not a crime.” My husband got angry, went into the kitchen and picked up a knife. The police were frightened and ran away. Only one of them remained. He grabbed my husband from behind and took away the knife. He dragged me to the police car and drove away.

I shouted at the police station: “How shameful you are! You asked a lady to knock on my door. How pathetic! Where can you show your face?” They were shocked. When they interrogated me, I didn’t cooperate, and said to them: “Please remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’. A police woman from the city Domestic Security Division came to take my photo at 3 p.m. Before I spoke, a policeman told her not to ask me because I would not say anything.

The police officer told me to sign on a blank piece of paper at 8 p.m. I told him that I wouldn’t sign because I had not committed a crime. He said that I would be released after I signed it. The police took turns to interrogate me. I said, “Please remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’.” Finally I was released and went home.

I have never given in to the evil in all these years. I understand more now that my mission is to clarify the truth and help Master save people.
