(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] The Case Against Mr. Wang Yanhui Submitted to the Court
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shen Yanqiao to Be Released
1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Mou Chunxiang Arrested
Ms. Mou Chunxiang from Huanxi Township of Chuanying District was arrested at home at noon on June 4, 2023. The police smashed the window and forcefully broke into her home. They confiscated her computer, printer, and other items.
2. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Aizhi and She Jintao Arrested
Ms. Yang Aizhi and She Jintao from Xishui County were arrested by officers from the Qingquan Police Station on the afternoon of May 7, 2023, for distributing information about Falun Gong. They were placed under 13-day and 10-day detention respectively.
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Yang Xiaochen Missing
Yang Xiaochen and another practitioner have not been seen or heard from since June 1, 2023.
4. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Three practitioners, Ms. Guo Defen, Tang, and He, were arrested by officers from the Shuishang Police Station in Tongzhou District around 8 a.m. on June 4, 2023, for distributing information about Falun Gong. They were taken to a police station and interrogated. Twelve officers went to Ms. Guo’s home around 10 a.m. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, a desktop computer, a tablet, a media player, etc. The three practitioners were released around 4 p.m.
5. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Fuyong Arrested
Mr. Jiang Fuyong was arrested by officers in the Fenghuang District on the afternoon of June 4, 2023. He was released the next afternoon.
6. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Zhen Arrested
Ms. Yu Zhen was arrested in Wudaogou Town on the morning of June 1, 2023, for posting stickers. She is currently held in the Tonghua City Detention Center.
7. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guoyuan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Wang Guoyuan from Qingyuan Town, in her 60s, was reported to police by a student for talking to other students about Falun Gong at the gate of Yifu Elementary School on June 3, 2023. She was arrested by officers including Xu Guoqiang from the Hebei Police Station and was placed under 10-day detention.
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Tan and two other elderly practitioners were arrested at their rented apartment by several officers from the Fulai Police Station in Yantai Development Zone around 2 p.m. on May 22, 2023. They confiscated their Falun Gong books and informational materials about Falun Gong. The three practitioners were taken to the police station and were released around 10 p.m.
Ms. Zhao was arrested at the gate of her home by officers from the Haihe Police Station on the evening of May 22, 2023. The police ransacked her home and confiscated more than 10 Falun Gong books. She was released around 10 p.m.
9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] The Case Against Mr. Wang Yanhui Submitted to the Court
Mr. Wang Yanhui lives in Beiligezhuang Village, Lizhuang Township, Qingyuan District. His family was informed on June 5, 2023, that his case has been submitted to the Gaoyang County Court.
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shen Yanqiao to Be Released
Ms. Shen Yanqiao will be released in June 2023.
