(Minghui.org) On May 13, 2023, the 24th World Falun Dafa Day, Falun Dafa practitioners in Sweden held celebrations in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Four Swedish Members of Parliament (MP) sent greetings for the events and expressed their support for the practitioners’ continuous efforts in counteracting persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
MP David Josefsson
MP David Josefsson said that the human rights violations against Falun Dafa practitioners and other dissidents in China are deeply disturbing and it’s important for the Swedish parliament to monitor the persecution. The entire Sweden government supports the practitioners’ fight for human rights and freedom. He committed to working together with the practitioners to end the persecution and defend freedom and democracy in China.
MP Jan Ericson
MP Jan Ericson condemned the forced organ harvesting against the practitioners by the CCP and sent good wishes for a beautiful day for the celebration.
MP Björn Söder
MP Björn Söder sent his greetings and best wishes to the practitioners. “I wish you success in your activities and keep up the good work!”
Swedish MP Boriana Åberg
MP Boriana Åberg reiterated her support for the practitioners and she condemned the CCP for persecuting and incarcerating the practitioners simply because of their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.
