Briefing on World Falun Dafa Day Greetings (Updated)

(Minghui.org) As of May 12, 2023, Minghui.org has received 19,000 greetings from Falun Dafa practitioners both inside and outside of China as well as practitioners’ family members and supporters. This year marks the 31^st anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 24^th annual World Falun Dafa Day. It’s also the 72^nd birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa.

Publication of the greetings began on May 10 and will continue until May 14 or 15. 

Since 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners in China have sent greetings to Minghui.org to mark special occasions, including the New Year, the Lunar New Year, World Falun Dafa Day, and the Mid-Autumn Festival. They extend their best wishes toMaster Li and offer congratulations on World Falun Dafa Day. Inspired by their fellow practitioners in China, practitioners outside of China began to do the same. The number of submissions reached new heights between 2017 and 2019.

According to data from Minghui.org, the site usually receives 30% more greetings for the Lunar New Year and World Falun Dafa Day than the other two occasions.

Additionally, as of May 10, Minghui.org has received over 8,600 articles in response to the “Call for Submissions to Commemorate World Falun Dafa Day 2023.” These submissions are first-hand accounts of practitioners walking their spiritual path in the modern world, at a special time when humankind coexists with the divine. The authors describe their journeys from being confused to finding wisdom, from having no hope to finding hope, and from being selfish to becoming altruistic. They thank Falun Dafa for lifting them out of the suffering of illness and struggles in the mundane world and guiding them on a path to transcend to a higher level. 

Minghui.org will start to publish the submissions on May 16 and continue until the end of May or early June.

We welcome fellow practitioners to share the greetings and submissions with more people and celebrate World Falun Dafa Day together. We hope more people can benefit from Dafa and Dafa’s values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
