(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 24 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Zhihua Faces Trial
The case against Ms. Dong Zhihua was sent to the Feicheng City Court. She will be tried at 2 p.m. on November 29, 2023. Her family hired a lawyer to defend her.
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested
Over 20 people, from the Wuhan City Police Department, the Wuchang District Police Department, the Hongshan District Police Department, and the 610 Office in various districts, broke into practitioner Hu’s home in Sanjiaolu Residential Community in the Simeitang area, Yangyuan Sub-district, Wuchang District, on November 25, 2023. They arrested nine practitioners, who were studying the Fa together. The nine practitioners are: Ms. Fu Shaolan (around 80 years old), Ms. Shi Jinglan (around 80 years old), Ms. Xiao (nearly 80 years old), Ms. Qian (around 75 years old), Ms. Zhang Xiaohua (74 years old), Ms. Ma Qiuzhen (70 years old), two sisters surnamed Hu (in their 50s), and Ms. Xu Lixiu (in her 50s).
The nine practitioners were taken to the Hongshan District Police Department for interrogation. Around midnight, six of the older practitioners were released. The whereabouts of the Hu sisters and Ms. Xu are unknown.
3. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Bingjuan Arrested
Three people from the Linjiang City Domestic Security Division and a person, who was in charge of monitoring Internet traffic in the Henan Residential Community of Sengong Community, broke into Ms. Zhu Bingjuan’s house and ransacked it on the morning of October 27, 2023.
They took Ms. Zhu to the Xinglong Police Station, collected her DNA samples, and took her to the Baishan City Detention Center for five days of detention. She returned home on November 1.
4. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Tian Yujie Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Tian Yujie was arrested by two Domestic Security officers when he talked to people about Falun Gong on May 16, 2023. He was placed under criminal detention for 13 days and released on May 28.
On June 8, 2023, Mr. Tian was arrested for the second time and was sentenced to five years in prison.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Held in Custody
It was reported that Ms. Zhang Honghua, Ms. Dai Qin, Ms. Zhang Guofang and several other practitioners were held in the Xinglongshan Detention Center. The other practitioners’ situations are unknown.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhou Chunling Officially Arrested
Ms. Zhou Chunling was arrested by officers from the Hulan District Domestic Security Division and the Renli Street Police Station on November 8, 2023. She was held in the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center. Ms. Zhou’s case was turned over to the Daowai District Procuratorate and she was officially placed under arrest.
7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Yuke’s Original Verdict Upheld
Mr. Sun Yuke, from SinoPec Qilu Company Limited in Shandong Province, was sentenced to three years in prison. The Zibo City Intermediate Court rejected his appeal in mid-November 2023 and upheld the original verdict.
Mr. Sun was arrested on July 6, 2023 by officers from the Linzi District Domestic Security Division and the Wenshao Police Station. He was sentenced to three years in prison. He appealed to the intermediate court.
8. [Shanghai] Ms. Wu Xindu Monitored
During the Shanghai International Import Expo, held November 5-10, 2023, officer Wang Aimin, from the Heqing Police Station in Pudong New Area, set up a temporary gatehouse in front of Ms. Wu’s home to monitor her.
9. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Sufen and Ms. Zhang Boling Arrested
Ms. Jia Sufen and Ms. Zhang Boling from Bazhou City were reported to the police while distributing Falun Gong materials at the Xin’an farmers market on November 25, 2023. They were arrested by officers from the Xin’an Police Station. The officers confiscated Falun Gong materials and interrogated both practitioners in an attempt to extract confessions. Ms. Jia was released around 6 p.m. that day. Ms. Zhang was taken by three officers to have blood samples collected. She was taken to the Bazhou City Detention Center on the morning of November 26.
10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Ran Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Sun Ran was arrested over a year ago and was sentenced to three years in prison.
11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Meiju and Her Husband Arrested
Ms. Zhang Meiju and her husband were arrested by officers from the Heping Street Police Station in the Luyuan District on November 22, 2023. Their home was ransacked. Her husband was detained for seven days. Ms. Zhang was taken to a detention center.
12. [Xingan County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Liao Xiaolin and Her Family Harassed
In early November 2023, police officers went to Ms. Liao Xiaolin’s home and told her to sign some paperwork. Staff members of the town government called her family and said that she had to sign guarantee statements and other paperwork. Ms. Liao was not at home at the time.
On November 16, Ms. Liao’s family received another call from the village committee Party secretary, who told her to go there to sign the papers, otherwise her subsistence allowance would be canceled.
