My Esophageal Cancer Is Gone

(Minghui.org) I am 84 years old, and I live in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in early September 2022.

I coughed constantly. My throat was in pain all the time and sometimes I had trouble breathing. I could only eat porridge or liquid food. My family sent me to the hospital for radiation therapy.

I had no improvement after one week in the hospital so I was discharged on December 12. It happened that the communist regime suddenly lifted the strict pandemic lockdown at the same time and the pandemic spread quickly across the country. My husband and I were both were infected, but we couldn’t be hospitalized because of the lack of medical resources. Even the drug stores didn’t have enough medicines. We desperately needed healthcare and help with daily living, but no one dared to come take care of us.

My younger sister, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was different. When she learned of our situation, she asked me to come stay with her so she could take care of me. My husband was left at home alone, so she brought food to him every day.

While staying with my sister, she often talked about how wonderful Falun Dafa is and that I would be blessed if I sincerely recited the auspicious words, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I believed her and often recited the words throughout the day.

I don’t know how it worked, but I did feel better and better after I began to recite the words. In March 2023, my family took me to the hospital for a cancer checkup. The doctor found that the tumor was smaller. I also began to eat solid food, with less discomfort in my throat. Five months later, I could eat normally. I went to the hospital for another checkup and the tumor was completely gone.
