Vendor Shouts: “Falun Dafa is Good!”

(Minghui.org) I’m 67 years old, and let everyone know that I began to practice Falun Dafa in early July 1999. Before I even learned to sit in the lotus position, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader, Jiang Zemin, and its rogue regime launched the brutal persecution. I lost my cultivation environment, as I couldn’t get in touch with fellow practitioners. Gradually I gave up on cultivation. But compassionate Master didn’t give up on me.

Master arranged for a senior practitioner to come see me in 2004. After being informed of the persecution experienced by Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) practitioners, I returned to cultivate in Dafa. After I retired in 2008, I spent a lot of time studying the Fa, doing the Dafa exercises, sending forth righteous thoughts, and clarifying the facts. My intention was to truly fulfill the duty of being a Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period, and do the three things. This was to fulfill the vow I made in pre-history—to save sentient beings.

Vendor Shouts: “Falun Dafa is Good!”

I once went to the market to clarify the facts and hand out truth-clarification calendars. I ran into a vendor who looked like he was in his 60s. He was skinny and dark-skinned. He only had bargains to sell, which seemed to all be leftovers from other vendors. No matter what he sold, all of them were under one yuan, such as onions, garlic, ginger, and so on. They were all in poor shape, but there were still many people buying from him. However, even though he sold all his goods, he still hadn’t made much money. Yet the tax collectors don’t care whether a vendor makes a profit or not, and charge vendors by how much space they occupy. Thus, he always felt unfairly treated, and became upset.

One time, when I passed by his vendor stand, he happened to be arguing with the tax collectors. I waited until they left, and gave him a calendar. I said, “Hi! New year is coming. Let me give you a new year’s calendar to wish you good luck. You can check out the information inside when you get home.” He thanked me.

I began talking to him about quitting the CCP to ensure his safety. He said, “It’s Falun Gong, isn’t it?” I said, “True! Falun Gong teaches people to be good. Our Master asks us to be considerate of others at all times. The CCP lacks goodness and is atheistic.” Upon my saying that, he said, “The CCP members are bandits. They are cops and robbers. Why don’t you Falun Gong take care of it?”

I said, “Our Master doesn’t look after ordinary people’s affairs, only for practitioners. You should sincerely recite the phrases: ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ Also quit the CCP to ensure your safety. By doing so, you’ll be blessed by the gods.” He said, “I’m not a Party member, I only wore the red scarf.” I said, “Then how about if I give you a pseudonym to quit the Young Pioneers?” He said, “Sure!” I said, “Please sincerely recite the phrases, then you’ll be able to escape from danger and come out safe and sound.” He thanked me.

When I passed him another time, he said to me, “Your Falun Gong calendar is so good. It is much better than any other type. The content is very rich. It has traditional stories, year-round living tips, and pictures which are nice to look at as well.” I said, “It not only looks good. When you put it in your house, it can help heal illnesses, drive away bad incidents, and ensure your safety. Please keep it in a secure place after you finish reading it.” He agreed.

We met each other again after six months. He said, “We had a fire in our house. Since our calendar got burnt and destroyed, could you give me another copy?” I said, “We have passed the greater part of this year, where could I go to find one? Let’s wait until next year.” He said, “No, this won’t do. You have to help me find a copy.” After I got home, I thought to myself, “It’d be really nice if I had another copy to give to him. What to do? Where to find one?”

While I was struggling with the issue, I suddenly recalled the copy I had put aside for myself. Even though I used it, and it would be inconvenient not to have one, Master taught us to put others first and be considerate of others. This was clearly the time for me to eliminate my selfishness. In the end, I decided to give him my copy. When I gave him this calendar, he truly appreciated it and did heshi to me.

Since then, every time he saw me, he shouted, “Dafa is good!” from a distance. When I came close to him, he shouted again, “Dafa is truly wonderful!” At that time, his heartfelt voice resounded in the sky.

When I saw him later, instead of having his vendor table stand on the ground, he was using a cart to sell goods in the middle of the market. He also didn’t have to pay the tax. While selling his goods, he chatted with people. He was in a much better mood, and he also looked younger and had gained some weight. He had a rosy complexion, and his back was straight. It was as if he had changed into a new person.

He has learned the truth and received blessings. Dafa has changed him.

Elderly Lady: “I Admire You the Most!”

While I was clarifying the facts one day, I saw an elderly woman in front of me with a cart loaded with vegetables. I quickly walked up to her and asked, “Aunty, do you sell vegetables?” She said, “Yes I do. But I’m old, I can hardly walk.” I said, “Let me help you push the cart.” She replied, “Don’t worry about it. It looks like I have a big load, but it’s not really that heavy.”

While I walked alongside her, we chatted. She told me that she was in her 80s. I said, “You don’t look like in you’re in your 80s. You look much younger. You have no wrinkles on your face, and you look pretty fit. You didn’t have to do much hard labor when you were young, did you? You don’t look like a regular citizen, but a civilized person. Are you a senior Party member?”

“I joined the Party a few decades ago. I’m a secretary of the CCP committee in my workplace. My husband is the president of the factory, also a Party member. Now he can’t leave our home due to his illnesses.” She replied.

I asked her, “Did you hear about quitting the CCP to ensure one’s safety?”

“Is this Falun Gong?” she asked.

I said, “Yes. The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Falun Gong teaches people to cultivate, practice kindness, and be good.”

She said, “The materials you make are nicely done, I have checked them out. I still have last year’s calendar at home. My husband asked me to toss it, but I said it’s a nice one and I want to keep it. So I have kept it until now. Sometimes I take it out to take a look.”

I said, “For such a wonderful practice, the former CCP leader Jiang carried out the persecution and orchestrated the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square to plant and frame Falun Gong. Even now he demands the harvesting of practitioners’ organs for profit. He has committed a huge sin, which outrages heaven and earth. Look, nowadays there are so many natural calamities, which is heaven eliminating the CCP. Didn’t the hidden character stone reveal heaven’s will to the worlds people? The current pandemic is exactly for eliminating the evil Party.”

She said, “Sure, then let’s quit. Please also help my husband quit as well.”

“Then he has to agree.” I replied. She thanked me. I said, “If you want to thank someone, please thank my Master. It’s he who asked us to save you.”

Middle-aged Woman: “I Have Seen the Light.”

I went with another practitioner to a sightseeing spot to clarify the facts in the summer of 2018. While we were walking on a country path, I saw someone sitting on a hill in the distance. When we came closer to take a look, it turned out to be a woman, looking to be in her 40s. She had her hand held up to her head, sitting on a stone boulder with her arms propped up on her legs. There was a bottle of wine on the ground, and some food inside a plastic bag. It was as if she had just finished eating.

I went up to her and asked, “Hello there! Is there anything I could help you with?” She suddenly became teary, and said, “I’ve already bought a house for my son. Even though I bought him everything, my son still came after me for money.”

When I heard that, I said, “Nobody can help you, only the divine. Please recite the phrases -- Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

At that time, she stopped crying. I said, “Have you worn the red scarf in school before?” She replied, “I graduated from a nursing school and joined the Youth League.”

I said, “What’s your name?” She responded, giving me her name, “I’m so-and-so.” I said, “How about if I give you a pseudonym to quit the Youth League.” She agreed.

When I asked her to remember the phrases to escape from danger and receive blessings, she asked me what if her son came after her for money again. I said, “If you sincerely recite the phrases, then the gods will help you.”

“Is this for real?” She asked. I replied, “As long as you sincerely recite, then heaven will help you for sure.”

After a short while, she said, “I’m fine. I’m fine now. I see the light. I see the light.” She then continued, “I’ll treat you to dinner. I have money.” Then she took out a stack of money from her pocket. I said, “You don’t have to treat us. As long as you can be saved, that’s our biggest wish.”

“What’s your contact number,” she asked. “I don’t have a cell.” I replied. “What’s your name,” she asked.

When I was just about to reply to her, the practitioner with me said, “You can just call her a Dafa practitioner.”

“Thank you, Dafa practitioner! Thank you, Dafa practitioner!” The other practitioner responded, “If you want to thank someone, then please thank our Master.” She said, “Thank you Dafa Master!” A life was saved just like that.

After a while, we came back to this rural path, and while walking, I saw udumbara flowers on the red trees in the mountains. My fellow practitioners were extremely excited, as they picked those flowers. This was encouragement from Master, which meant that we had done the right thing. Thank you Master!

On the path of saving people, there have been so many touching stories. I only included a few here. Thank you Master, thank you Dafa. Fellow practitioners, let’s treasure this eternal opportunity, step forward, and save sentient beings!
