(Minghui.org) It has been 16 years since practitioners established a materials production site in our city. We cooperated with each other and worked hard to print materials for distribution by local practitioners. Earlier this year, however, the production site was discovered and raided by the police. Those who worked there were forced to go into hiding. Another local practitioner was arrested and had his home ransacked. The losses were huge.

We were all sad about the incident, and we knew there must be something wrong in our cultivation. We shared with each other and found the following reasons.

First, we used the production site to host Fa study groups, which increased the chance for it to be discovered.

Second, we let practitioners who were going through physical tribulations stay at the production site. Two of them fainted when no one else was around. If they had died there, the situation might have gone beyond our control.

We also let a practitioner who was released on bail but still monitored by the police stay at the production site. During the six months she stayed there, she still went out every day to distribute materials. She thought that she was doing something righteous and wouldn’t have any problems. She eventually moved out, but fact is, she was still arrested elsewhere. She is now being held in a detention center.

Most importantly, we had become lax in our cultivation. When we met with each other, instead of sharing things about our cultivation, we chatted about everyday things. Some practitioners commented on others behind their back, and some had attachments of jealousy and resentment towards each other.

I hope that practitioners can learn from our situation. No matter what we do, we must take cultivation as our first and foremost top priority and be responsible for ourselves and fellow practitioners.
