My Thoughts After Reading Minghui’s Call for Opinion Articles

(Minghui.org) I thought a lot after reading the notice “Minghui Calls for Opinion Articles to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Falun Dafa’s Introduction to the World.” The notice stated, “...and the Fa-rectification is also transitioning to the phase of the Fa rectifying the human world. Time is pressing, but many people have yet to learn the facts to be saved.” 

Why are there still many people who have yet to learn the facts and be saved? As Dafa disciples who shoulder the mission of saving all sentient beings, we cannot help but look for the reasons and seriously think about it.

In order to fulfill our sacred vow and save as many sentient beings as possible, I have two suggestions:

Thoroughly Explain the Basic Truth 

With the Fa-rectification having progressed thus far, I understand that all sentient beings are waiting for salvation and are eager to know the truth. I once met a middle-aged woman, and shortly after I told her about the persecution and the reason to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), she slapped her legs and said excitedly, “I understand now!” She said another practitioner had explained it to her before, but she didn’t fully understand. I said, “Then you should tell your family and friends!” She replied with certainty, “I will!”

From this, I can see how important it is to explain the basic truth clearly and thoroughly. When she truly understood the truth, it may in turn lead to the salvation of her family and anyone else she knew. Such word-of-mouth spread of the truth will naturally have an enormous effect.

As far as I know, one common problem that fellow practitioners around me (including myself) have is that we tend to limit our truth-clarification efforts to just urging people to do the three withdrawals (quitting the CCP and its two junior organizations) and also remember “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” We have failed to make people understand the why part. As a result, many people refused to listen to our truth-clarification or even became resentful towards us. Therefore, it is better to clarify the truth thoroughly and help people truly understand, instead of just focusing on the number of people that we have talked to.

“Minghui Calls for Opinion Articles to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Falun Dafa’s Introduction to the World” is a timely notice. I believe most people, regardless of their education level, enjoy reading commentary articles, as long as they are concise and clear.

Some of the articles and CDs published by Minghui.org in the past have been well-received by the public. There was once a leader of a higher-level unit overseeing my workplace who often made irresponsible remarks about Dafa. After reading a commentary published by Minghui during the SARS period, not only did he stop making negative comments about Dafa, but has also been reading Minghui every day since. After the Party secretary of my workplace saw the CD containing a poem about plum blossoms, he said the poem was wonderful and could be turned into a beautiful article.

I hope we can work together to accomplish our mission, fulfill what Master wants, and save more sentient beings.
