(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ge Lingzhen Tried in Court

Ge Lingzhen, gender unknown, in his or her 60s, was arrested in early April 2021 after someone reported Ge for distributing Falun Gong flyers in the Shushan District. Ge’s home was ransacked. Ge has since been held in the Hefei City Detention Center, and was tried on November 4, 2021.

2. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Chunhe Faces Trial, Ms. Liu Jinhuan Sentenced

Ms. Zhang Chunhe will be tried by the Haizhu District Court at 9:30 a.m. on November 19, 2021. The judge is Wang Jie. The prosecutor is Lin Jishen.

Ms. Liu Jinhuan, 57, was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Haizhu District Court on the morning of November 16, 2021.

3. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yandong Faces Trial

Mr. Wang Yandong will be tried in the Suizhong Detention Center on November 18, 2021.

4. [Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zuo Chenghua and Ms. Tu Xiuxia Face Indictment

Ms. Zuo Chenghua and Ms. Tu Xiuxia were arrested by officers from the Shengli Farm Police Station on August 8, 2021, for informing others about the persecution of Falun Gong. The Jiansanjiang Procuratorate is about to submit its case to the Jiansanjiang Court.

5. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Sugen Detained, Ms. Zhu Qiuling Missing

Ms. Zhu Qiuling’s pension was illegally suspended. When she filed a complaint to the court, she was retaliated against. She has been missing since November 9, 2021.

Ms. Jiang Sugen was arrested on November 4, 2021. She is being held in the Suzhou Detention Center.

6. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Yujing and Ms. Luo Rongxiu Detained

Ms. Chen Yujing, about 70, and another practitioner talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and gave out Falun Gong flyers in a western suburb of Nanyang City. They were seen on surveillance cameras. Officers from the Domestic Security Division traced her to her home on October 26, 2021. They arrested her, ransacked the place, and confiscated all of her Falun Gong books. She has since been held at the Nanyang Detention Center.

Ms. Luo Rongxiu, in her 60s, was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division in November 2021 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. Her Falun Gong books and related materials were confiscated. She was subjected to 14 days of detention, and is still being held by police.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Gu Yuenian Harassed

Ms. Gu Yuenian was harassed at home by six or seven people from the Beihu Police Station, Comprehensive Management Office, and the Zhengjie Community on November 10, 2021. They searched her home illegally and videotaped it using their cellphones. Officers ordered her to go to the police station to be questioned. She refused.

8. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Kuihua Arrested

Ms. Yan Kuihua, 57, was arrested again by officer Wang Qingtao and others from the Sunlou Police Station on November 15, 2021. Her situation is unknown.

9. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhixiu Detained

Ms. Liu Zhixiu, in her 60s, was arrested by officers from the Weibeilu Police Station on November 5, 2021, when she distributed Falun Gong flyers in a market. She is being held at the Jinan Detention Center.

10. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Qingwen Imprisoned, Ms. Cao Guiroing Detained

Ms. Wang Qingwen was imprisoned in the Jilin Province Women’s Prison. She is in the Police Hospital due to the persecution she suffered in prison.

Ms. Cao Guirong was arrested after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center.

11. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Hongbo, 79, and a practitioner family of three, Mr. Chen Qingshan, wife Ms. Wang Ling, and their ten-year-old daughter, were arrested by officers from the Caisanghu Town Police Station on the morning of November 14, 2021. They and their car were held at the police station. Mr. Wang refused to leave the car or give his name. The officers falsified a statement and ordered him to sign. He wrote, “These words are not from me.” The officers seized his bag.

The officers brought Mr. Chen’s family to the office. Mr. Chen was scared and his blood pressure surged. He had suffered a stroke before because of his high blood pressure. Fearing that he would have another stroke, the officers took the family home. They ransacked the place, seized their Falun Gong books and a CD player. Ms. Wang Ling is being held in the Junshan District.

12. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Caixia and Ms. Zhang Ling Detained

Ms. Li Caixia and Ms. Zhang Ling were arrested by officers who were monitoring them on the evening of November 2, 2021, when they were distributing Falun Gong flyers in the Binhu area. Their homes were ransacked. The home of practitioner Sun (first name and gender unknown) was also ransacked. Ms. Li and Ms. Zhang were detained.

13. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhao Niu Arrested

Ms. Zhao Niu of Gongyi City was arrested in her apartment in Zhengzhou City around October 26, 2021. Her place was ransacked. All of her valuables, including machines, were confiscated.

14. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Lin Hong Arrested

Lin Hong (gender unknown) was arrested on the way to his or her mother’s home by officers from the Dongling Police Station on the morning of November 12, 2021. Lin is being held at the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center.
