A 50-year-old woman was held in a labor camp for one and a half years and a prison for four years for practicing Falun Gong. Her health deteriorated as a result of years of torture and abuse in custody, followed by ongoing police harassment after her release.
Activities were held at the Hualian train station to introduce people to Falun Gong and to let them know that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting those who practice it.
