(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in seven provinces. According to this report, 30 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least seven practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Liaoning Province] Mr. Zeng Fansheng's Home Illegally Searched
More than 15 officers in six police vehicles came to Mr. Zeng Fansheng's home at 10:30 a.m. on January 19, 2011. They broke into his home and searched it. Officers from Xiafeidi Township Police Station and the Kaiyuan City Police Department's Political and Security Section, along with 610 Office agents participated in the ransacking.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Dong Xinzhen Arrested
Ms. Dong Xinzhen lives in Yamenkou Village, the Shijingshan District. More than a dozen officers from the Shijingshan District Police Station arrested Ms. Dong at home on January 11, 2011.
3. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Shi Fengqi Arrested
Mr. Shi Fengqi, 66, lives in Yexing Village, Lengzibu Town. Approximately five officers, led by Lengzibu Police Station head Zhang Jingkun arrested Mr. Shi on the street on February 10, 2011. They took him to the Liaozhong County Detention Center, ransacked his home, and confiscated Falun Gong books and VCDs.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Xiufeng Held in Custody
Ms. Liu Xiufeng works part time at a construction site in Changping County. Officers from the Dongxiaoying Police Station and the Laishui County Domestic Security Division arrested her on January 6, 2011, and took her back to Laishui County. They held Ms. Liu in custody for more than 20 hours and seized her laptop computer.
Laishui County Domestic Security Division head Dai Chunjie requested that Ms. Liu come to the police department to collect her computer on the morning of February 1. But the Domestic Security Division officers refused to return Ms. Liu's computer, claiming that Falun Gong-related information was found on the computer. They also warned her that if she continued using her computer to do things related to Falun Gong, they would keep her computer permanently.
6. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Statistics Bureau Retired Official Ms. Tang Qingying Again Arrested and Detained
Ms. Tang Qingying is a retired official from the Hecheng District Statistics Bureau in Huaihua City. She was arrested at around 5:00 p.m. on February 13, 2011, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong and the persecution, in the former Huaihua City Brewery. She is currently being held in the Hecheng District Detention Center.
Ms. Qiu Qianying is from Xinhuang County, Huihua City. She was arrested the afternoon of February 12, 2011 as she spoke with people about Falun Gong in the former Huaihua City Brewery. She was released around 4:00 p.m. on February 14.
7. [Chongqing] More than 40 Practitioners Arrested
Chongqing State Security Division officers and officers from the Jiulongpo District Police Department arrested more than 40 practitioners in one day on the streets and at their homes. The practitioners included Mr. Liu Zijin and his wife Ms. Zhang, Ms. Liu Erjie, Ms. Fan (in her eighties), Xu, Zhou, Ms. Tang Yinglian, Ms. Liang Fuzhen, Ms. Li Yuhua, Ms. Wu Shibi, Ms. Hu Bixian, Ms. Zheng Tongyun, Ms. Zhang Chunxiang, Ms. Huang Chengxiang, Mr. Pang Guangping, Mr. Yang Guangping, Wan, Mr. Liao Chaoxue, Ms. Huang Changrong, Ms. Huang Shunping, Mr. Zhang Shengquan and his wife Ms. Deng, Che, Mr. Du Hanwen, and Ms. Xia Dong.
The practitioners were taken to different police stations in Shipingqiao, the Liulongpo District, Zhongliangshan, and Daxigou. Some practitioners were released that same night, and some were released the next day. Some are still held in the Wangxiangtai Brainwashing Center. Most of them were held in the Yuzhong District Detention Center and the Huayan Detention Center in the Jiulongpo District from two weeks to one month before they were subjected to one year of forced labor, and served the term at home.
Ms. Du Hanwen is in the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Pang Guangping and Ms. Wu Shibi are in the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Zhang Shengquan is in the Liziba Detention Center in Chongqing.
8. [Foshan, Guangdong Province] Ms. Song Su'e Arrested
Ms. Song Su'e was arrested at 4:00 p.m. on February 9, 2011, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong in the Shanshui District. More than 20 officers led by the Shanshui District Police Station head Wu made the arrest. The police then ransacked Ms. Song's daughter's home, carrying guns. Ms. Song's daughter was not at home.

9. [Wuxi, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xie Sujuan Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Xie Sujuan was held in the Huazhuang Police Station in the Binhu District, Wuxi City for several weeks before being taken to the No.1 Detention Center. She was subjected to two years of forced labor in late 2010, and is currently held in the Jurong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Jiangsu Province.

13. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gu Shengju Held in the Xindu Detention Center
Practitioners Ms. Gu Shengju, Ms. Lai Xianhui, and Ms. Chen Shengqun are around 65 years old, and from the Xindu District of Chengdu City. They were arrested on the afternoon of February 9, 2011, and are currently held in the Xindu Detention Center.
