(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in five provinces. In this report, 12 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least six practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tang Yankun Missing Many Years
Ms. Tang Yankun, a government employee in Heilongjiang Province, who lived in Harbin City, had to leave home to avoid arrest in approximately 2000. Later, she lost contact with her family. Reportedly, her family has been monitored.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang Jingru Arrested
On the morning of February 18, 2011, Ms. Huang Jingru was arrested when she was hanging truth clarification banners at the Changchun City Police Department.
3. [Shijiangzhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Bomin Arrested
Ms. Zhang Bomin was arrested when she went to take a driving test on January 25, 2011. She is now detained at the the first detention center.

4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Yongxiang Arrested
At noon on December 18, 2010, Ms. Gao Yongxiang, Ms. Xu Yanjiang, and Ms. Li Xiuhua from Jinan City went to Qihe County to distribute informational materials and clarify the truth. They were reported and arrested by officers from the Qihe County Criminal Police Division.

Ms. Huang Ying from the Huangpu District was arrested on February 15, 2011. She might be held at the Pudong Detention Center.

6. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] More Information about Ms. Bai Fengyu Who Was Arrested Three Years Ago
On the morning of July 20, 2008, Ms. Bai Fengyu and Ms. Zhang Guoyun from Nanguan Village, Nanguan Township, Fengning County, Chengde City, went to Jiangying Village, Humaying Township, to distribute truth clarification materials. They were reported by the leader of the village. Around seven officers in three vehicles came from Humaying Township Police Station to arrest the two women. Then they notified Fengning County Domestic Security Division. Wang Zhigang and the other four police officers from the domestic security division took Ms. Bai and Ms. Zhang to Fengning County Police Department. They also stormed into and ransacked their homes. After the practitioners were interrogated, they were held in the Fengning County Detention Center for five days and their families were not allowed to visit them.
Ms. Bai's heart disease recurred on the evening of July 25, 2010. She was twitching while she was unconscious. She was taken to the emergency room of Fengning County Hospital that night and given an I.V. At 4:00 a.m., on July 26, 2011, Wang Zhigang from the Domestic Security Division and three others took Ms. Bai, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Liu Ruilan, also from Nangang Village and also at the detention center, to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, Tangshan City. Ms. Bai was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor, Ms. Zhang to one year, and Ms. Liu to a year and a half.
7. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Jie Arrested
On February 15, 20111, Wang Yong, the previous director of Beitian Township Police Station, Dingxing County, and police officers from Dingxing County Domestic Security Division stormed into Beitian Village and took Mr. Li Jie's child, who is not a practitioner, to Dingxing County Detention Center.
8. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Yufen Taken to Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Liu Yufen was arrested by officers from the Tianjin Police Department 610 Office and No. 2 Bridge Police Station on December 21, 2010, and taken to Hedong Detention Center. She was later sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is currently at Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp, in Tianjin.
9. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] More Information about Ms. Shi Xueran
Ms. Shi Xueran from Hou Village, Zhaoba Township, Shenze County, went to Beijing to work. Her nephew went to Beijing to pick her up. On his way to the Tiananmen Square, he was interrogated and searched by police officers who patrolled the area. Because he said it was legal to have faith, he was arrested. On February 16, 2011, she was picked up by officers from Zhaoba Township, Shenze County and was held at the Zhaoba Township Government Building. On February 17, 2011, she was taken to Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp.

11. [Wucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yi Chunjie Sentenced to Forced Labor
In November 2010,. Ms. Yi Chunjie from Wucheng City was arrested in Jinan City. She is now in the Shandong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp, also known as Jiangshuiquan Women's Forced Labor Camp, Jinan City.
12. [Chongqing] More Information about Mr. Lai Yuanchang
Because Mr. Lai Yuanchang from Jiangjin, Chongqing, refused to be “transformed” in Yongchaun Prison, the guards ordered others to beat him until his head bled. Every day, he was forced to sit on a single bench for over 20 hours and was only allowed to sleep for one hour.
In early 2008, he went to Rentuo Bridge to clarify the truth and distribute Shen Yun discs and was reported. He was arrested and taken to Zhiping Police Station. Officer Yuan Zhongxu took him to Langshan Detention Center in the Jiangjin District the following day. A year later, he was sentenced in the Jiangjin District Court and taken to Yongchuan Prison.
13. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] More Information about Ms. Liu Sufen
Ms. Liu Sufen from Heyuan City was sentenced to two years on November 11, 2010. She was taken to Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp, Guangdong Province, without her family being notified. In the labor camp, she was tortured mentally and forcefully brainwashed. Guards threatened her to give up her faith, citing the safety of her family and a prison sentence. As a result, she became emaciated.
14. [Shanghai] Mr. Yan Bin Missing in Shanghai before the 2011 Chinese New Year
Mr. Yan Bin, in his 30s, of Hunan Province, went missing around Xidu in the Fengxian District of Shanghai at the end of January, 2011.
