(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Gao Mingxia from Qingdao City was arrested on July 11, 2010 by police from the Licang District and 610 Office agents. She is now in the Qingdao City No. 3 Detention Center, and her family is forbidden to visit her.

Ms. Gao Mingxia, in her 40s, lives in the Dongshan Community, Li Village, the Licang District in Qingdao City. She has been detained three times for not giving up Falun Gong. She has twice been subjected to forced labor terms. Over the past more than five years, Ms. Gao has endured all kinds of physical torture and mental torment and has suffered greatly.

In 2000, Ms. Gao was first subjected to a forced labor term. Under the intense pressure of brainwashing and the persecution, she gave up practicing Falun Gong.

In 2002, Ms. Gao wrote to the 610 Office and related government departments to clarify the facts and declared that her previous words and actions against Falun Gong were null and void. She was subsequently arrested and taken to the Mingxia Street Brainwashing Center affiliated with the Qingdao City 610 Office, where she was held for more than a year. The Chinese Communist agents released her only because of the outbreak of SARS.

Ms. Gao was sent for two and a half years of forced labor in May 2004 for speaking with people about Falun Gong. She continued her truth clarification efforts after she was released.

In the spring of 2008, Ms. Gao was arrested by officers from Li Village Police Station. She was able to escape, but had to live away from home to avoid the persecution.

In the second half of 2009, she returned home and continued her efforts of speaking with people about Falun Gong and the persecution.

She was arrested in front of her home on the evening of July 11, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Li Village Police Station, from the Licang District 610 Office and Dongshan Neighborhood Committee personnel. Ms. Gao is still being held in custody.

Those participating in the persecution of ms. Gao include: Yue Feng, from the Li Village Police Station; Liu Xiangqian, 610 Office agent; Jin Weihong (female), head of the Dongshan Neighborhood Committee; Yang Fengji, from the Licang Procuratorate.
