Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Han Guangrong, 63 years old, was sentenced to forced labor camps and prison in the past eight years. On December 18, 2007, Ms. Han Guangrong was arrested again wihle she was shopping at a market and her home was ransacked again.
Mr. Xiong Xiuyou of Huangjiagou Village, Taiping Town, Gulin County, Sichuan Province was sentenced twice to prison terms for practicing Falun Gong. He died on December 16, 2007. His family has been threatened by prison authorities not to reveal any details of his death to the outside.
At around 8 p.m. on October 9, 2007, the police broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Qiwang, ransacked his home and arrested him. On October 26, the police secretly sent him to Handan Forced Labor Camp. He was tortured, deprived of sleep and was not allowed eat a full meal. His family was denied of visiting him.
Ms. Guo, 64, has been repeatedly arrested for practicing Falun Gong. Most recently, she was sentenced to a seven year prison term for handing out flyers. She remains in the Harbin Women's Prison at this time.
Ms. Gong Ping, Ms. Cao Xiuxia, and Ms. Guo Fengxia are Falun Gong practitioners from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. Recently, they were brutally beaten, had money extorted from them, and were illegally detained by local security staff and the police officers from Sifeng Town.

Falun Gong Practitioner Che Hongfei lives in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. His parents, parents-in-law and wife went to Dalian City Prison four times to request his release after they learned that Mr. Che had been tortured to the point that his life was danger.
Ms. Jia Minyin was arrested by CCP police while she distributed materials to expose the persecution of Falun Gong. The police tortured her to the brink of death after she refused to tell them the source of the materials. Then the police extorted over ten thousand yuan from her family.
Saertu District Court in Daiqing City secretly sentenced several Falun Gong practitioners three to seven years in prison.
